Known to viewers as the “Tell it like it is”, outspoken Real Housewife of Atlanta, NeNe Leakes has made her presence known on yet another popular reality TV show, “Celebrity Apprentice”. And as NeNe is used to stealing her piece of the spotlight with her animated personality and quick tongue, her reign on this show came to an end following a feud with former “The View” host Star Jones. After the show’s host, billionaire Donald Trump, made some team changes after the airing of last night’s show, Leakes let it be known that she felt he was looking out for the best interest of Jones instead of herself:
“Trump was doing things to accommodate Star and not me.”
Leakes went on to say that she felt that the producers were trying to egg her on in an attempt to escalate the situation between her and Jones.
Of course Trump responded to NeNe’s accusations, in only a way that he knows how to do:
“The fact is she left … she quit, she gave up. To you, NeNe, I say, you’re fired. And you’re a quitter. And Star Jones kicked your ass whether you like it or not.”
Damn, Donald’s getting under everybody’s skin isn’t he?
Trump has already ruffled the feathers of the mass of Obama supporters with his, what many saw as demeaning, comments about the president’s so-called hidden birth certificate. Now he has pissed off a woman who has absolutely no problem speaking her mind when she feels the need to…none whatsoever.
As for Mrs. Leakes, was the “beef” between her and Star Jones really that deep? Or was it because she had to share a bit of the spotlight with someone else?
Judging by how NeNe got into it with a number of people on this past season of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, including her close confidant Dwight and Kim, who she has heated, ongoing battles with all the time, the blame could very well fall on her shoulders.
I just have to say, as a black woman, Nene embarrassed me! She was just ghetto, loud, profane, and extremely childish! Star is shady and very annoying, but she maintained professionalism and class throughout the entire show. And that really is the difference between the stereotypical black woman and the educated black woman. And honestly, it doesn't even take a college degree to exhibit class. Nene made an ass out of herself in front of a larger audience this time around, and no matter how she tries to spin this one, she's a coward and she allowed Star to beat her without even having to stoop to her level.
Nene said she felt the producers were trying to escalate things between her and Star, so why did she continue to pursue Star? It was sad to see black women go after each other this way, none of the whites exhibited so much agnst against each other compared. Sad because Star really tried to reconcile the argument b/t Nene and Latoya and then Star came to Nene to talk w/her after Nene felt Trump was calling her negative. Nene, like alot blacks dont know how to debate and strategize to win. This kind of thing happens in the show Big brother and Survivor, but she was ,making Star- who showed more compassion and conscientiousness than any of the ladies on the show w/Nene and Latoya, and have Nene try to demonize her was disgusting. I cant stand the Nene's in the black community, they are one of the reasons black men are dating interracially, they tear away at the femininity of black women and drive our men away and ceate a notorious negative reputation for the majority of black women. Nene is a clown, a caricature for the black female image and she has allowed whites behind the camera to clown her, not caring how this affects black women as a whole. Nene is doing the same thing to black women as rappers did with their soft porn videos to teh black woman, same outcome, negativity. Star was robbed when Trump fired her, Robbed. Now all the blacks are gone thanks to the infighting as ususal and then it will be said no black has won or made it to the top, Lil Jon dont count because he is too friendly w/the white folk and they will devour him. This happens in teh work place all the time.
