After recent reports hit the blogs revealing that Shaunie O’Neal gave Royce Reed, Kesha Nichols, and Royce Reed their walking papers from the Basketball Wives franchise; Shaunie O’Neal takes to her Twitter account to deny the firings.

Even after the fourth season of Basketball Wives ended with a bang, the reality television drama that made the show the most controversial it’s ever been in any season, just hasn’t managed to slow down despite the season ending. While the reunion show ended with the dramatic making up of Jennifer Williams and Evelyn Lozada; Shaunie O’Neal’s reputation has been damaged beyond repair so much so that she’s been revealed to be thinking of booting three ladies off the franchise during a recent interview with The Insider.
While critics and supporters could only speculate on who Shaunie would have the courage to give the boot, yesterday TMZ broke a report that stated the unlucky (or very lucky) three to get their walking papers would be Kesha Nichols, Royce Reed, and Jennifer Williams. The reports were immediately met with outrage, as many feel that the three ladies were the only cast members to remain non-violent and lady like throughout the season. The main three that seem to be the cause of all the drama, wine bottle tossing, and lawsuits would remain; Evelyn Lozada, Suzie Ketcham, and Tami Roman.
As always, angry fans and haters took to the social networks to make their disgust and disappointment from the decision very clear with Shaunie.
However, Shaunie denied that the firings have even took place, as she went back and forth with a few people on Twitter:
She also took a little time to throw some major shade to Hoopz, Shaq’s new boo and the one chick who managed to make a come up off Flava Flav’s coonish behind:
And the drama continues.
I love the shade she threw at Hoopz. LOL. If you’re stupid enough to make Shaunie your boss, then I can care less when she fires you. Find a better career ladies.
So I’m confused. They haven’t been fired? Is she sure about that, if so, what in the hell is TMZ talking about?
The question isn’t who Shaunie fired, but why on earth does any woman want to still be on that show? It’s a bad look for their images and I couldn’t work for a person like Shaunie or a network like VH1. There just isn’t enough money in the world.
I don’t believe Shaunie. She lies…a lot. Anyway, if she does get rid of these 3 all hell will break lose. And I have a feeling it will be the last straw for the show. You can’t kick off the victims, and keep the bullies.
Why do I feel there is some backtracking here? Sometimes in business, it is hard but you cannot bring your friends and family along for the ride if they are not good for business. Personal feelings cannot always be used when making business decisions. If it were me, I would have met with Ev, Tammie, and Suzy to tell them I know they have good hearts but their actions just were not appropriate especially when it reflects badly on me. My name is on the checks, had they respected me as their friend all of that should not have happened. If I don’t put a stop to it, what if next season tempers flare and someone gets hurt or killed. As their friend, I don’t want to see them go to jail or get hurt. Enough is enough.
