If you are an avid watcher of VH1’s reality television train wreck that is Basketball Wives, then you should already be well accustomed to the interesting dynamics of Evelyn Lozada and Chad Ochocinco’s relationship. Known for their interesting and rather crude take on humor, sometimes it is easy to mistake their relationship for a verbally abusive one, since both seem to have no real limits on what they should and should not say to each other on camera. While the two seem to have no bouts with any of this, it still seems to shock the general public to watch a couple soon to be married act so rudely while cameras follow their route to exchanging nuptials.
When Chad Ochocinco got the news that he would be released from the New England Patriots, he took to his Twitter account to release a emotionally driven statement; but his wife to be took to her Twitter account to take a shot that made many people question if Evelyn takes their impending marriage seriously enough to even go forward:

Some would argue that a woman should not kick a man when he is down or in this case, blast him in a series of Tweets when he loses his million dollar NFL contract. But Evelyn and Chad Ochocinco have made it quite clear that they do not have a traditional relationship, so perhaps it is safe to assume that Evelyn does not mind taking the least traditional of roles for a woman who is dating a professional athlete.
However, this will not be the first time the couple has had to deal with adversity in the last couple of weeks. As reported recently, the two continue to struggle in booking venues for their upcoming wedding. Several notable locations have turned the couple down due to Evelyn’s recent outrageous and sometimes violent behavior on the fourth season of Basketball Wives. Turns out, throwing wine bottles at people’s heads and jumping over tables just isn’t appealing to to venue owners. Who knew?

If Chad doesn’t get on another team soon, this marriage will last as long as Ashanti’s career. And we all know that is NOT a good look.

Sometimes you have to laugh to keep from crying…or dumping a professional athlete for another.
They could really love each other but that’s hard to believe considering how fast they got engaged and how stupid Evelyn was willing to look on TV for money. I just don’t see how this will last if Chad doesn’t sign with another team soon. I don’t think he’s finished like TO is.
I don’t think Evelyn really finds any humor in losing money. Chad better get signed soon or he can hang this whole relationship up. Evelyn is about her money and I doubt she’ll be cool with being a breadwinner too much longer.
When the money gets low enough, she’ll bounce. Neither one of them seem like genuine people to me. But if they like it, I love it i guess.
What kind of woman finds humor in her husband to be losing his job? Her little reality tv money ain’t that long. any damn way. She got a little book coming out and some makeup, but I don’t know anyone who has either. She can make jokes all day on Twitter but if he ends up broke, she’ll throw up the deuces with the quickness.
