Rapper Lil Wayne is no stranger to controversy. The rapper has been accused in the past of traveling with a very confrontational posse as the head of Young Money. As an avid skateboarder, the rapper is known for being pretty unfriendly while he practices on his skateboard. To keep the paparazzi at bay, it’s been reported that Lil Wayne will keep his bodyguards close to handle anyone who attempts to take any pictures of the rapper as he strives to get better at the hobby he is contemplating retiring from rap for. Earlier this year, the rapper was accused of having one of his bodyguards hit a fan turned pap in the head with their own skateboard and use the same skateboard to cause destruction to his parked car. Of course this isn’t the first time Lil Wayne’s posse has been accused of assaulting paps and fans of the rapper.
Now it appears the rapper may have gotten himself caught up in some more drama. Over the weekend, it is being reported that Lil Wayne and his entourage got into a backstage brawl with unidentified men at the Power 106 Christmas Cali show. According to Hollyscoop, the incident allegedly occurred before the rapper could join fellow rapper Kendrick Lamar on stage.
An eyewitness tells Hollyscoop:
“Punches were thrown but no arrests were made,” an eyewitness tells Hollyscoop exclusively, “It was a serious fight and was witnessed by everyone who was backstage.”
It’s unclear what they were fighting about or who the other guy was. Lil Wayne’s Twitter account does not shed any light on the situation. His last tweet was sent late last night and it was about his skater-clothes brand, Trukfit.
He probably didn’t raise a finger. Most likely his crew did all the fighting for him.
Which one of his 1000 baby mamas was he fighting over?
Isn’t he too old for this sh-t?
What on earth could you be fighting about two seconds before performing?
