We all know rapper T.I,. and his wife Tiny have some of the cutest kids and we’re pretty sure they play a huge part in the success of their reality show The Family Hustle. T.I. has made it clear from his portrayal on the show that he is easily the stricter parent when it comes to his household. On many of the episodes, the rapper can be seen teaching his kids valuable lessons and not being concerned if he’s the more popular parent. So it should come as no surprise that the rapper once again felt it was crucial that he used the upcoming Holidays as a reason to teach his kids another valuable lesson about life and the value of hard work.

On the Season Finale of VH1’s The Family Hustle, T.I. told the kids they would have to put some work in to get the extravagant presents they are requesting on their lists of wants this year. The rapper gave the kids the ultimatum of accompanying him on his tour and helping him promote his eighth studio album Trouble Man: Heavy Is The Head (which is currently available on iTunes now), or not getting their requested Christmas gifts. Although he jokingly told them their presents rely on the success of the album, he explained in a recent inteview on VH1 Big Morning Buzz Live that he just feels it’s important that his kids understand the value of the dollar and that the best way to do that is showing them first hand that he works for everything he has and they should too.

The rapper also discussed his current album, and confirmed that it has a mix of genres and he even has a track with Pop star Pink entitled “Guns and Roses.”

  1. LOL TIP is hilarious. He knows damn well he’s going to get those kids their heart desires no matter what. I love the show. They really are the hood version of the Cosby show.

  2. I feel like all celebs should do the same because it’s too easy for celeb kids to grow up and become lazy entitled losers. Kudos to T.I. for stepping up and trying to teach them something.

  3. I love the fact that he’s teaching his kids to work hard for the things they want in life. And I also liked how Tiny had the kids trying the horse back riding to get them to be adventurous and not scared to try things. Their children will make them proud parents in the long run!
