Rapper T.I. has proven that he is not opposed to dipping into other areas of the entertainment industry. Starring in hit reality TV show T.I. and Tiny: The Family Hustle, the Atlanta rapper has gained even more popularity by doing the show, giving his fans a more personal look into his life with wife Tameka “Tiny” Harris and how he is as father to their children. While there is always a fear that when artists or athletes get involved in reality TV shows that it will have a negative impact on their careers in the long run, T.I.’s involvement with his family-centered show hasn’t prevented him from producing yet another solid album. And it looks as if not only is his reality show bringing in large numbers when it comes to viewership but his latest album is doing just the same. This week, T.I.’s Trouble Man: Heavy Is The Head album debuted in the Number 2 spot on the Billboard 200 Chart, making this T.I.’s eighth album to land in the Top 10 on the chart. To add to that good news, the album has sold 179,000 copies in its debut week, an improvement from the sales that he saw with his last album No Mercy. The Atlanta rap star has most definitely had his trials and tribulations during his time in the rap game, finding himself caught up in some situations which have cost him to lose his freedom for awhile. Yet that hasn’t stopped him from producing hits and putting out albums that are getting heavy recognition on the music charts.

Congratulations to T.I. on the success that he has seen thus far with his new album.
