Rihanna is without a doubt one of the biggest pop stars to date, but just as with any artist whose personal life has become an open book, she isn’t safe from the rumors and speculation of how she is to work with behind the scenes. The singer might have rekindled her romance with Chris Brown to some of her fans’ delight, but as to be expected, not everyone is thrilled about the reunion.  Just weeks after Chris Brown publicly called things off with then girlfriend Karrueche Tran, he began splitting his personal time between Rihanna and Karrueche. Now that Karruche is out of the picture, it looks like Chris and Rihanna are serious again. For some people in the business, the rekindled romance between Chris and Rihanna poses a problem. in particular, rumors suggest it’s posing a problem for Rihanna’s camp. Not only image wise could Rihanna take a hit, but it’s been speculated that many fear the relationship could cause Rihanna to lose her focus. And not too long after Chris was back in Rihanna’s life, there were reports that Rihanna’s camp was having issues with the singer’s “lack” of professionalism – they pretty much blamed it on Chris Brown resurgence in Rihanna’s life.

Last year, rumors suggested that Chris Brown was hanging out in the studio with Rihanna and causing the singer to struggle finishing up recording her Unapologetic album.

Well, it looks like a producer might have confirmed the rumors.

Producer Labrinth reveals in a recent interview with The Daily Record that it was difficult to work with Rihanna for her latest album.

Here’s the report from The Daily Record:

LABRINTH has worked with some of the biggest names in the music business including Scotland’s very own Emilie Sande where they produced the number 1 hit Beneath Your Beautiful, but it was another collaboration that the singer songwriter wishes to put behind him.

Rihanna recruited the record producer to work on material for her seventh studio album Unapologetic but the Earthquake star revealed at the Clyde 1 Live show last night that working with the world superstar was “difficult” but he ”managed to get through it.”

  1. Said it before and I’ll say it again…both Chris & Rihanna do better when they are not together. They have a very toxic relationship and it shows.

  2. I wouldn’t blame Rihanna’s nasty attitude on Chris. People been talking about her nasty attitude for YEARS. Hell, look how she acts on Instagram.

  3. For this guy to be a producer, he is very unprofessional! You don’t go around bad mouthing artists! He will get blackballed for this!!!!
