Beyonce Releases New Sexy Promo Pic for Super Bowl Show, NFL Slams ‘Diva’ Rumors

Beyonce is set to have a big year with the release of her fifth studio album, a new Pepsi endorsement, and an upcoming documentary on HBO; and so far she’s getting that with a controversy no one expected surrounding her recent performance at President Obama’s Inauguration. Although Beyonce did appear to give an amazing performance, later a London based tabloid would suggest they thought she was lip syncing, and soon it became national news that the R&B starlet did not sing the National Anthem live. Although it was later proven that Beyonce did sing live and actually just sang over the pre-recorded track, most sites are still running with the misreporting and stretching out the relevance for the controversy for as long as they can because we guess it’s just more interesting. After clapping back at the criticism on her Instagram account, Beyonce is back to work and moving forward with her upcoming performance at the Super Bowl.

Beyonce and her camp have released a new promotional picture for her performance, and in it, Beyonce is looking gorgeous and very fierce. It’s pretty clear from the photo that she’s still not going to let the criticism interfere with her upcoming performance. Check out the photo:

And because Beyonce is Beyonce, already the tabloids have made up yet another lie and claimed that the singer is making ridiculous diva demands regarding what she must have in order to perform. One report even claimed she demanded her daughter Blue Ivy’s crib be stocked with red roses. We surely don’t understand how that even sounded believable to folks, but some took the reports as the gospel anyhow. But the NFL has already stepped forward and shut the rumors down, telling TMZ they are “pure pulp fiction”:

“Beyonce and her team have been great to work with throughout this process. . . . We have enjoyed her creativity, vision and spirit in putting on a great show that is truly a Super Bowl performance.”
