Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker‘s engagement was big news for the singer-songwriter as it became obvious that things were getting pretty serious between Kandi and Todd as the couple appeared on this season of Real Housewives of Atlanta together. Their engagement was held under wraps for a little while though it didn’t stay that way for long as whispers quickly started going around about Kandi and Todd’s possible engagement due to questionable photos that the two took together while on vacation. Eventually the announcement was made and Kandi showed off her engagement ring to everyone, her engagement ring sparking up controversy as many have questioned if it is real or not. Kandi has kept quiet about the talk of her engagement ring being fake but she hasn’t held back her words when it comes to be people’s comments about her relationship and engagement to Todd.
After hearing Wendy Williams drag her fiancé, labeling him as an opportunist and blasting Kandi for moving too fast with her relationship with him, Kandi clapped back at what Wendy had to say about Todd and said that he is a wonderful guy who has his own money and isn’t trying to get his hands on hers. As Kandi has nothing but good things to say about Todd, a prenup will signed. In her recent interview with Sister 2 Sister, Kandi spoke on both Todd Tucker and A.J. Jewell, the man she was engaged to before Todd who tragically died during a brawl outside of a strip club, and the opinions that people have about them and their intentions with her. And Kandi says:
“I heard different people like Wendy Williams trying to say he was an opportunist, but I was trying to figure out, “What does she mean by that?” Todd makes good money doing what he does, and he also has a lot of different business ventures going on outside of that. And he did not want to be on TV or anything. I think, for AJ, it was more about if people can’t figure out how you make your money, then they always try to say, “Oh, you must not have any.” But you can clearly see that Todd is working. He does well, so no need to question it.”
Kandi Burruss’ full interview will be available in the March 2013 issue of Sister 2 Sister.
She doesn’t have to keep explaining Todd to strangers…
Right
The man has a job, so why are people so worried? Let them be. Smh.
She needs to stop defending Todd. Ppl will say what they want anyway.
Just get a prenup.
Good luck with that Kandi…
she feels she has to defend herself ever since Miss Marlo Hampton let the world know she is a BIG MAMMA AND SHE LIKES TO TAKE CARE OF GUYS!!!!!! LOVE YA KANDI BUT CLEARLY U ARE AN EASY TARGET LOOKING FOR LOVE…………
If I were Kandi I wouldn’t keep defending Todd at all. She should know by now when people are unhappy in their life, they attack those that are happy. She should focus on planning her wedding and let the haters do what they do best…..hate!
Live your life to the fullest, you are Blessed and you are capable of having anything you want, your child is taken care and wants for nothing and that’s what’s the most important, keep your head up and stayed prayed up you will be just fine.
