Ne-Yo Sued for Allegedly Defaming Ex-Girlfriend

Ne-Yo’s ex-girlfriend Jesseca White suing him for allegedly defaming her character? Ne-Yo has never had an issue with telling folks exactly what is on his mind. He clapped back at people and let them know how he really felt about the criticism that he and Alicia Keys got over their performances at the NBA All-Star game. And when it comes to those who think Beyonce’ has a fake personality, despite her HBO documentary receiving a lot of praise, the singer/songwriter had a few words for them too. So when it came to his ‘Behind the Music’ special with VH1, not many people were expecting Ne-Yo to switch things up as he spoke very candidly about his past, including his past relationship with ex-girlfriend Jesseca White. During the special, Ne-Yo revealed that Jesseca had him believing that he was the father of her child and that he was crushed once he discovered that he wasn’t the child’s father.

Ne-Yo supposedly spilled some beans that were not meant to be spilled as it was reported that Jesseca White was set to sue Ne-Yo for talking about the situation publicly. Well now Jesseca White has moved forward with her lawsuit as she is suing the singer for allegedly defaming her character for the picture that Ne-Yo painted of her in people’s minds on his ‘Behind the Music’ special that he did with VH1, TMZ is reporting:

A woman who once claimed Ne-Yo was her baby daddy is suing the rapper, claiming he defamed her by trashing her on a TV show.

Jesseca White claims in her lawsuit … Ne-Yo went on VH1 and painted her as “an unchaste woman who deliberately tricked him into believing he was the father of her child … so that she could fraudulently bilk him of ‘ungodly amounts of money.'”

As a result of the show — which was a “Behind the Music” about Ne-Yo — Jesseca says people have called her all sorts of names, including “c**t,” “b*tch,” “pathetic” and “gold-digging b*tch.”
