R&B singer Kelly Rowland has a new studio album on the way and she’s already made it clear that she’s opening up more in her new music. Although Kelly is showing us a more sensual side to her with her upcoming album, she’s also revealing more of her personality in her interviews. Post the Keyshia Cole and Michelle Williams drama, Kelly made her feelings known about Keyshia in an interview with USA Today when she basically wanted to remind Keyshia that more people care about Destiny’s Child than they do her. Of course Keyshia would then go on to come for Beyonce on Twitter, however, people were shocked that Kelly could snatch a wig so effortlessly for her close friend and feel no remorse whatsoever. Kelly’s new album, which is entitled Talk A Good Game, is showing more of Kelly’s freaky side. And with her lead single “Kisses Down Low” picking up steam on the charts and on iTunes, it’s clear people are feeling the more open Kelly Rowland.
It’s been confirmed that Kelly’s next studio album is set to drop June 4. When Kelly dished the details about her new album during the Grammys, she confirmed that it’s definitely one of her most intimate projects. She says:
“I recorded 50 songs and condensed it down and it tells a different story. It’s way more intimate and a lot of it is some slick stuff that I’m saying out of my mouth, some things I can’t even believe I’m saying. Some of the writers wanted to push the envelope on some things and really open me up a bit as far as what to discuss. Some things really hit home.”
Good for her. I still don’t like her new song though.
Not feeling the whole over sexual thing, but good luck to her.
I still think this album is going to flop. R&B is flop prone.
Agreed.
I hope she does well. She’s really coming into her own and I’m happy for her.
Aww I love Kelly. I hope the album does well.
