Floyd Mayweather is known for being one of the most flashiest boxers on the scene, and when it comes to his relationships with women, his track record is pretty messy. Recently, Floyd’s ex Josie Harris made an appearance on Starter Wives Confidential, but before she could spill too much tea on Floyd, the show ended up being cancelled by TLC. Before the show met its doom, Josie did suggest that she was still sleeping with Floyd although he is currently engaged, but she says it’s because she wanted payback on his fiancée for creeping with him while she was in a committed relationship with Floyd. Josie also didn’t seem to think Floyd would ever make it down the aisle, even if he is engaged, and that’s because she says the boxer just doesn’t seem to want to commit to just one woman.
In Floyd’s Showtime documentary 30 Days in May, the boxer says if a man can provide for 20 women, he has a right to date 20 women at the same time. Interestingly enough, he compares women to cars, and claims he should be able to do what he wants because he can afford to. Floyd says:
“Even though you can’t drive ten cars at one time, you got people that got ten cars. So, you’re able to keep maintenance on ten cars. So, I feel that as far as it comes to females, that same thing should apply. If you’re able to take care of 20, then you should have 20.”
His fiancée Shantel Jackson says she agrees and has no problem with Floyd sleeping with multiple women while he’s with her:
“I’m not the jealous type, I know who I am and I know where I stand. I just feel like when you have that type of relationship where you can be open and honest, I just think it helps the trust and it helps keep things new and fresh. So, it doesn’t bother me and it’s never bothered me. I just think when you let a man be himself, he will respect you that much to not disrespect you.”
Some women will tolerate anything as long as a man has money. Sad.
