Season three of Love and Hip Hop New York may be over, but part two of the reunion is set to air next week, so the stars of the show are continuing their week of press. Raqi Thunda has already made it clear that she doesn’t like the way she was portrayed on the show, and most specifically, she loathes the tramp labels she’s been given as a result of her appearance on Love and Hip Hop. When Raqi’s not defending her reputation, she’s holding back nothing in her interviews. Raqi isn’t opposed to speaking her mind about her fellow cast mates, but in a recent interview with VH1, it’s pretty clear that she doesn’t respect most of them, especially the ones who are currently dating rappers. According to Raqi, you have to be a doormat to become the main chick to a rapper. When asked if she was dating anyone, Raqi says she is but she’s keeping everything very low key. And that’s when she made her opinions known about what it takes to be the girlfriend to a rapper. She says:

“…See, that’s the thing. I stopped dating rappers when I was 23, 24. I don’t date rappers now. They’re child’s play. When I did that it was for fun. You don’t f— rappers to wife ‘em, or be in a relationship. Most women who are in a relationship with rappers are doormats, and I will never be that. It doesn’t take a lot get wifed by a rapper. It’s the simplest sh– on Earth. All you have to do is be a low self-esteem doormat, have some artificial a– and boobs and you’re in there.”

Interestingly enough, when asked about Tahiry, Raqi says Tahiry has low self-esteem:

“I think Tahiry has a really deep rooted jealousy and low self-esteem issue, so I’m sure she hates my f— guts. I’m very indifferent when it comes to her. I don’t deal with s— at all.”

  1. Meh, it depends on the rapper. But most of them do tend to date the fake, weak, gold digger type. But judging by some of the recent ignorant comments most of them have been making lately, it makes perfect sense.

  2. She forgot to include athletes. Floyd Mayweather’s chick just made it clear that she’s pretty weak and desperate too.

  3. As ignorant as most of these rappers are today, I have to say I agree with Raqi. They are too intimidated by real women who won’t tolerate their BS, so they tend to go for the desperate gold diggers.

  4. I don’t think Tahiry has low self-esteem…she’s actually the one who has no problem telling Joe about himself. That’s something Kaylin needed to do from jump. You can’t be a softie and expect a man to stay with you. Ask Karrueche. LOL.

  5. I only saw the truth, and yes she forgot to mention athletes…and this is pretty sad cuz white people think the exact same thing about the rapper’s girlfriends or wifes…..SMH

  6. How about just saying certain men ate like this…not just all rappers. Think about it: Beyonce and Jay, Will and Jada, Ice Cube and his wife etc. It really matters on the person. Raqi always acts like she has it all figured out. Ridiculous.
