Sheree Whitfield wasn’t present on season five of Real Housewives of Atlanta but viewers are still getting their dose of her on the small screen as Sheree and her ex-husband former NFL baller Bob Whitfield both agreed to go on Iyanla Vanzant’s show Iyanla: Fix My Life to hash out their differences for all to witness. Sheree and Bob’s marital issues were put on display during her time as a ‘housewife’ in addition to the ongoing child support battle that went on between them as well. Not everyone who has appeared on Iyanla’s show feels that they have benefited from their sit down with the life coach as Rapper DMX seems to think that Iyanla didn’t fix a thing when it came to his life and that she actually worsened his image. Bob Whitfield however is thankful for him and Sheree’s appearance on her show as he had a few things that he needed to get off of his chest.

In a clip of the episode, Bob tells Sheree that he felt like a bad parent by the way that he was portrayed on RHOA and speaks on what he thinks Sheree’s motive was for making him look that way to viewers of the show. Bob went on to accuse Sheree of prolonging their divorce to her advantage and and that she used it as a storyline for the show:

“Your whole plot was to point a finger at me, as to catapult yourself into some glory. To take advantage of the stereotypes of the male athlete having kids everywhere, to the bad husband that abandons his family, doesn’t take care of them, to the distraught woman that can’t meet her bills. Basically, you took a reality show television show to become your reality so that even when we were going through divorce, that was supposed to be done and finished, you needed something more just for your television cameras.”

And Bob says that Sheree not only took advantage of him but she took advantage of their children and says that everything always has to be about Sheree:

“It’s all about Sheree, in everything you do so that you look all good on TV. She by Sheree sh*t. We’re your little accessories. I’m your f*cking handbag, your kids are your f*cking shoes.”

Iyanla steps in and tells Bob to “take the edge off” with his comments and then Sheree responds to what he had to say:

“Man up, do what you’re supposed to do.”

Iyanla: Fix My Life with Sheree and Bob Whitfield airs tonight at 9 p.m. ET on OWN.

  1. Sheree was funny to me and I miss her one liners but she wasn’t smart. She should have faked a better storyline and came out with fitness DVDs while she was on the show.
