Halle Berry Thought Pregnancy Was Kidney Stones

Beautiful actress Halle Berry recently confirmed that she is pregnant and expecting her first child with fiancé Olivier Martinez, but the Hollywood bombshell also revealed that her current pregnancy was a big surprise for her. Part of the reason Halle wasn’t expecting to be pregnant has to do with her being in her late 40s, however, she admits that being pregnant is one of the best surprises she could have encountered before she walks down the aisle with her beau. She recently told CNN:

“I feel fantastic. This has been the biggest surprise of my life, to tell you the truth. Thought I was kind of past the point where this could be a reality for me. So it’s been a big surprise and the most wonderful.”

 

Halle recently opened up a little more about her pregnancy and she actually revealed to HELLO! Magazine that she actually mistook her pregnancy for kidney stones:

“I was at the doctor’s when they told me and I was completely shocked … I didn’t see it coming. I went to the doctor because I thought I had kidney stones or something. So it was a massive surprise.

“[Nahla’s] really happy. Not long ago she asked God for a little sister, but I tried not to get her hopes up. At 46, I didn’t know if I’d be able to get pregnant again.”

 

Although Halle’s past relationships haven’t been the best, she still remains optimistic about love:

“Absolutely. I’m an incurable romantic – that’s the only reason I’m marrying again. Just because things haven’t gone well in my past doesn’t mean that I’ve given up.”
