Is Kordell Stewart gay? The former football player and (estranged) husband to Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Stewart has been plagued by scandalous rumors for years. Kordell played quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers from 1995-2002 and during his stint in Pittsburgh, rumors surrounding his sexuality began to circulate. In fact, multiple blogs have reported that he was allegedly caught getting it in with a man in the park by a police officer. However, it’s been alleged that the police officer didn’t want to report what he saw go down in the park out of respect for Kordell’s production on the football field. Interestingly enough, the rumors could never be proven because of course it wasn’t reported and no one ever ID’ed the police officer that allegedly caught him.
Porsha herself also addressed the rumors in her interview with The Breakfast Club. She says:
“I don’t know any details of all of that. It’s lies and all kind of things out there on the internet about everybody. One thing I do know is that my husband loves me, and he puts it down, and I will be with him forever. And he is more man to me than I have ever met. So for me, gay is out of the window.”
Kordell addressed the rumors the other day on his Twitter account after one of his followers asked him if the allegations contained any truth. Kordell denied that the rumors are true. Check out the tweets (read from top to bottom):

Hmm…I don’t know if he’s gay but he definitely has some controlling issues. That much is clear.
I don’t think he’s gay. That rumor probably came from one of the many women he pissed off. You know how we do sometimes when we’ve been scorned. I mean, Kordell isn’t that memorable as a QB that absolutely NO ONE would come forward all these years later to provide proof the park thing happened. Just sayin.
You make a good point. He had a decent career as a QB but he wasn’t one of the greats. So why didn’t anyone come forward and back up the rumors? I wonder that too. It makes me think it’s not true.

It’s kind of sad that every man seems to “suspect” to women nowadays. I blame that “Down Low” book that came out several years ago. Women haven’t been right since. LOL.
