With Basketball Wives set to return in August, it’s pretty clear that the stars still left standing on the show (Evelyn Lozada, Tami Roman, and Shaunie O’Neal) will have a lot of material to cover in the upcoming season if the recent headlines are any indication. Evelyn is expected to open up to the cameras about her divorce and fallout with Chad Johnson, Shaunie plans to show more of her home life and romance with her younger beau, and Tami Roman is attempting to become a serious actress although her recent show Belles got the axe by TV One. But one thing Tami doesn’t want to discuss in addition to her violent past on last season of the show is her ex husband retired NBA player Kenny Anderson. Kenny was arrested for DUI last weekend. Miami CBS Local reports:
Anderson, 42, was arrested early Saturday morning on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failing to use a signal for a lane change, according to the Broward County Sheriff’s Office.
According to the arresting officer, Anderson failed a roadside sobriety test and after initially refusing, agreed to a breathalyzer test.
The arrest affidavit stated Anderson blew a .194 and a .195, more than twice the legal limit of .08.
As to be expected, Tami’s camp has now been flooded with interview requests as a result of Kenny’s latest legal trouble, but the Basketball Wives star has decided she doesn’t want to use that the situation as an excuse to bash her ex. She writes on Instagram:
“My email was flooded with interview requests pertaining to the story above. Here is my comment…. Even though our relationship is strained that is still the father of my babies. I would never find joy within his trials. Clearly he is hurting and all I can do is pray for him.”
That’s classy of her. But why isn’t she that classy on Basketball Wives?
Well she had no problem bashing him any other time…
It’s funny that she wants to take the high road now but didn’t feel the need to do so on the show.

Good for her. Oh people let it go. She was a mess on BBW, now she’s trying to be a better person and you’re still not satisfied. What gives?
Well you can’t steal another woman’s person on camera and expect people to ride with you when you say you’ve changed for the better. If she proves it next season, maybe people will forget it. But she’s fair game for now. When you do ugly to others, you’ll get ugly back ten fold.
Well she acted a fool on TV, so naturally people have labeled her as a fool. It’s her responsibility to prove with actions that show she’s a better person now. Until then, people aren’t going to cut her any slack.

I guess she’s said enough terrible sh-t about him that she doesn’t feel the need to anymore.
