Ciara might have a new album dropping soon and may be doing exceptional on iTunes these days, but when people aren’t talking about her “beef” with Rihanna, they are talking about her cutesy romance with rapper Future. It’s pretty evident that she is truly happy in her relationship with Future, but even though she’s moved on with the up and coming rapper, many still wonder why she could never manage to get 50 Cent to claim her and talk highly of her in his interviews like Future does regularly. Ciara suggested sometime last year that she thinks 50 was afraid to love her, but she opened up in her recent interview with MTV News and admits she’s glad she has landed a man who has no problem acknowledging her. And now when she looks back on things, she feels a secretive romance isn’t the best situation for her like she thought it was at the time. Ciara says:
You know what it is…let me just say this. I’ve had my experiences over the years and I’ve been able to learn a lot. When you do step outside, you put yourself in a position to where as people are going to be able to judge, they can criticize, they can give their opinion. And that’s always something I used to always fear. I’m kind of in a place where I’m facing my fears. I’m running towards my fears. I’m running towards the things that make me uncomfortable because I feel like if I live my life based off of those things, I won’t live my life how I’m supposed to. I won’t live my life to the fullest. And I feel like you have to really live your life for you. That’s where I am at this day and time in my life. And I’m also with someone who makes me feel extremely comfortable to be that way which is really important.
“And the way that he makes me feel is just like, ‘Why not?’ If you love somebody, you should express it. And now I understand that like before I used to think…I’m thinking I’m trying to protect it but realizing I’m really only making it more complicated or I’m really only harming the situation, so there’s nothing sexy about hiding your love. There’s nothing sexy about people not acknowledging each other. It’s a lot of stuff I’ve learned. And it feels so good to free in that.”

I like Ciara but I’m getting burned out on her talking about future all the damn time. I understand she is happy and that’s good but it’s still a very new relationship. It’s too much too soon. I hope for her sake this works out because if it doesn’t she will look like a real fool.

she still got the hots for 50. Future is just a rebound and a little puppy who will do as she ask. I still think it’s more to it why 50 never claimed her.. I believe he just saw her as a friend and that was it. Or sometimes men will keep you hidden when he feels you are not the one or is eying someone else. Just my opinion. Poor thang Please stop talking about your “man” future it is becoming boring and redundant. We get it , you got a “man” who acknowledge you in public.
She should wait a year 2 years or more before she start going hard for dude!! He might end up being just like 50

Get over it Ciara. It’s not about being secretive. If the person really cares, they would claim you. 50 didn’t claim Ciara, just like he is not claiming Daphne Joy, he is using that “Single” routine again, because he wants to feel free to see other females, even though he is sleeping with that person. In order to keep them from tripping and to have them in his control, he laces them with gifts and trips. That is what he did with Ciara, but could not do with Chelsea Handler and now doing with Daphne Joy. SMH
I so agree with No words and MsThang, 50 view these chicks as friends he can smash and buy them stuff to shut them up so what’s to claim and he claim single so he can smash other women he know what hes doin he has lil respect for some women anyway especially the ones he deal with he ain’t slick I see what hes doin lol.
