Beyonce new album rumors are running rampant. Beyonce might still be on her Mrs. Carter World Tour, but her fans “The Beyhive” are still awaiting an official single, confirmation of an album title, or just some kind of sign that the singer is still dropping another studio album this year. Instead, they’ve only been graced with a few teaser tracks and gotten a glimpse of new music in her commercials for Pepsi and H&M, as well as her recent performances on tour. While there has been numerous rumors surrounding the release date, no release date has been confirmed. And although many thought the album was finished and she would drop a single any day now, R&B singer/songwriter Ne-Yo is saying the album isn’t even finished yet. Billboard reports:

“I’m still putting stuff together for Beyonce’s album,” he said. “They’re still trying to figure out what they want that to be, which I’m not mad at. Beyonce’s the kind of artist where you’re not gonna see it till it’s right. And her fans — they love her so they’ll be patient.”

Beyonce has been hard at work on her fifth album ever since secret songwriting sessions began last summer in the Hamptons, where writers and producers like Ryan Tedder, The-Dream, Greg Kurstin, Sia and others stayed for over a week to write and collaborate on potential tracks. Though no official single has yet to be released, snippets of songs like “Grown Woman” and “Standing On The Sun” have premiered in ads for Pepsi and H&M, respectively, while another Sia track “Rise Up” recently appeared on the soundtrack for animated movie “Epic.” Ne-Yo and Beyonce are best known for making magic with 2007’s Hot 100 No. 1 “Irreplaceable.”

Now we’re sure Bey’s fans will keep waiting patiently for their fave, but it sounds like the rumors suggesting the album will drop this fall could be true.

  1. This is what I love about my Bey she will not put out anything she is going to wait until it is done correctly which I appreciate it. I don’t care how long it takes she is well worth the wait. Quality over Quantity.
