Another Chris Brown Twitter rant. Chris Brown’s legal troubles just got worse. Just hours after being cleared in false accusations made by a young woman who accused the singer of pushing her down and causing major injuries, the R&B singer has now been charged with criminal hit and run. As we reported recently, Chris allegedly rear ended a woman several weeks ago while riding with Karrueche Tran, but the woman told the authorities Chris allegedly refused to hand over his insurance information. These of course are accusations Chris denied. Regardless, TMZ is now reporting he is facing four years in prison. The website writes:

We’ve learned the L.A. City Attorney has filed 2 criminal charges against Brown, in connection with a minor accident last month where Chris rear-ended a Mercedes and allegedly refused to fork over his driver’s license number and gave bogus insurance info and then left the scene.

The City Attorney has charged Chris with hit-and-run — for leaving the scene without exchanging proper information. He’s also been charged with the crime of driving without a valid license. The crimes are punishable by a maximum of 6 months in jail for each offense.

We’ve also learned the City Attorney will refer the matter to the L.A. County D.A. for a possible probation violation in the Rihanna beating case. Worst case scenario — if the judge in that case concludes Chris broke the law and thereby violated his probation, he could be sentenced to prison for 4 years.

Chris of course wasted no time in responding to TMZ’s recent report on his Twitter account. He tweets (read from the bottom up):

    1. He deserves to go. He needed to go for what he did to Rihanna but he used his status, even as a black man, to get off easy. Karma is a b*tch!

          1. If they didn’t give him jail time when they had the opportunity….that’s their bad. But trying to send him now for a bs hit and run is ridiculous. They’re are trying to OJ him. Smh at the justice system I’m sure there are plenty of people committing real crimes while their wasting time on a fake hit and run.

  1. This is nuts! Chris is always being targeted. Can anyone name another celebrity who has become this hated by one mistake to this extent who isn’t black? You can’t, can you? SMDH.

  2. I’ve always said things would have ended up better for Chris if he would have laid low after the Rihanna thing. He didn’t “appear” remorseful to a lot of people and they made him a target because of that.

  3. So Chris goes on one of his epic twitter rants over something he did yet he blames the media for hating on him and not letting him live?

    Immaturity its finest.

  4. This fool had multiple chances to get his life together. Instead he kept hanging around all those bum and broke thug friends of his, dating Rihanna again and dumped the girl who had his back when Rihanna got the hell on, still throws temper tantrums, and hasn’t learned how to be a man at all. I don’t feel bad for him.

  5. Y’all need to let Chris Brown live! He didn’t perform a hit & run. Y’all need to understand that TMZ is racist and hates on ALL black entertainers and people eat that stuff up like ice cream.

  6. I didn’t see this one coming. But will he get any jail time? I seriously doubt it. His lawyer is a beast.

  7. I mean OMG his domestic violence case was so BIG because it was Rihanna….this crap happens everyday in normal lives. He got over it, she did too…so the world needs to give them boy sometime to grow into a man. He will continue to make plenty of mistakes the thing is HE has to learn from them and not make the same ones!

  8. We all make mistakes in life and no one is Perfect. There comes a time when we have to take heed and learn from our mistakes/ bad behavior. Chris Brown has had Too many chances to change his ways. Prison is what will Tame this guy down.

  9. In my opinion some people want to see Chris fail no matter what it is. If he gave out the right information then there shouldn’t be a problem with proving it. In the photos that were online it shows both Chris and Karrueche out of their care taking pictures of the cars. Chris is doing the right thing by using the word because sometimes that is best. Years ago Chris made a mistake between what happened between him and Rihanna he worked hard to try and change the perception that people had of him. He got back with Rihanna and all of a sudden all you heard was so much negativity. He apologized for that incident and it seems like Rihanna forgave him so the media and whoever needs to let this boy live. We all make mistakes, but it does not play out publicly like celebrities does.

  10. I was a huge Chris Brown fan but I really have faltered over the years. Not just because of the negative publicity but his poor decision making in general. He needs to really grow up and that has nothing to do with his race. Maybe some jail time will focus him a bit because he always manages to find trouble. He needs to take some old southern advice… “don’t trouble trouble, until trouble troubles you”. Rihanna = trouble, Groupies = Trouble, Social Media = Trouble, Graffiti on your house = Trouble… Just take a seat and focus on your craft for a while.

  11. It’s about time Chris Brown has put on his big boy drawers, and man up this time he has been able to skate all this time now it’s time to face the music MR. BROWN!!!!!! Good for his A–..lol lol

  12. Chris Brown you need to forgive yourself and others, humble yourself and love yourself. Realize that rihanna is over a big cauldron wanting you to be doomed. Trust your gut instincts not your ego/status and seek wisdom. Read Proverbs, the whole chapter and call upon my name for power and deliverance from the powers of darkness. Love you 🙂
