RHOA star Porsha Williams had to get an emergency partial hysterectomy after her doctor discovered 21 uterine fibroids.
Porsha Williams is currently filming the upcoming season of “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” However, she recently stopped by CBS Mornings to share some news with Gayle King. Porsha revealed that she had to get an emergency partial hysterectomy earlier this year. While Porsha was in the process of going with a friend who wanted to freeze her eggs, her doctor detected that she had 21 uterine fibroids.
This wasn’t Porsha’s first experience with fibroids. She was first diagnosed with fibroids in her late 20s before suffering a miscarriage.
Porsha hopes sharing her story will encourage other women to visit their doctors.
