Being labeled as sassy for speaking his mind about his divorce has been difficult for Todd Tucker to process.
Todd Tucker has been a hot topic on social media thanks to his new movie, “Til Divorce Do Us Part.” In the film, Todd addresses his divorce from Kandi Burruss. Interestingly, he has also received backlash for his transparency. During an interview with “The Big Tigger Morning Show, he responded to the backlash and some women labeling him as “sassy.”
“Why do men have to feel like I’m a sucker because I’m telling you my feelings?”
He added, “‘Cause when unc falls and has a stroke because he ain’t said nothing and been dealing with so much for so long, then everybody’s like, ‘No, he was a good dude.’ Yeah, but you ain’t want him to say nothing. Let him talk. Let him get it off of his chest.”

Riley Burruss told Todd Tucker to fix things with Kandi Burruss.
He continued, “I want people to understand this isn’t a messy journey for me. This isn’t me – tell all, like me and Kandi did this with this and this. No. We not doing that. This is just me trying to explain my journey of emotions going through a divorce. And how…I don’t want my kids every other weekend, every other week. It’s hard, and it’s different.”
Todd also said that the breakup has been rough for the rest of their family. Riley Burruss told him to make it work with Kandi.
“It’s so funny, my daughter, Kayla, had a party at my spot in Jersey, and Riley came through. We all chilling and she called me in a room and said, ‘Go get my mom back.'”

Todd Tucker doesn’t rule out reconciling with Kandi Burruss, but therapy would be necessary.
When Todd was asked if he thinks a reconciliation could happen, he didn’t rule it out but said therapy would be required.
“I think it’s a lot of therapy that has to happen. It’s got to be a lot of changes because I’m not the same person now. She don’t…she know this Todd, but she don’t really know it.”
He continued, “There’s not going to be any disrespect. I’m not going back to how I used to be. How I would let **** kind of roll off. I won’t do that. And that may be hard.”

He also disagreed with being called an opportunist.
“Where was I an opportunist?”
Todd continued, “When I came to Atlanta, I worked on the show. I was a line producer. Line producer deals with budgets, logistics…I’m everything money. Producers have to speak to me to get things okayed and for it to move forward. At that time, I was making a couple hundred thousand. That was what, a decade ago? I was doing pretty good. I was alright. I had a car and little spot.”
“What did I take? What did latch onto? I think I came in and we worked together and we…it wasn’t just her. It wasn’t just me,” he said.
