The Stevie J., Joseline and Mimi drama continues. Season two of “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta” may be over, but everyone is still talking about the last scene between Mimi Faust, Stevie J. and Joseline Hernandez. Although Kirk Frost and Rasheeda’s storyline became the season’s forerunner, in the end these three did what they did best and stole the show. Joseline and Stevie decided to be “exclusive” this season, but as Joseline quickly learned it’s not easy trying to get Stevie J. to be monogamous. After proposing to the producer, Joseline was disappointed to learn he didn’t want to get married yet and he instead said he wanted to keep the ring so he could have a symbol of their “life partnership.”
Stevie eventually did buy Joseline a ring but he ruined the moment by giving Mimi Faust a ring too just seconds after putting one on Joseline’s ring finger. Joseline was furious and she attacked him on the elevator while Mimi laughed and drank her champagne.
Although Joseline talked real tough at the close of the season finale and claimed she didn’t need Stevie anymore, we’re guessing her feelings have changed since then. In a recent chat with VH1 she actually defended Stevie J’s actions and sounds pretty delusional. Stevie J. also made some comments that sound pretty clear to us he’s not interested in marriage, while Mimi Faust made it clear she has absolutely no sympathy for Joseline.
When asked why he bought both ladies rings, Stevie J. says:
“Ladies love diamonds. And money. And bags. So I figured I’d go with the two life partner rings, the life partner bands. I hope they like ‘em.”
Out of Stevie’s own mouth, he confirms he bought two life partner bands. One for Joseline and one for Mimi.
Mimi Faust says she’s planning to pawn the ring and put the money towards her daughter’s education:
“I’m going to pawn it and put it down for my daughter’s tuition for school. That’s exactly what I’m going to do. This ring can kiss my a-s and so can he. He bought us the same f—ing ring!” Mimi told us when we brought up the subject of her “engagement” ring from Stevie. We joked that if she gets rid of her ring, she’ll jeopardize her standing in Stevie’s Life Partner Gang, and, despite all her laughter while the situation played out, she got feisty, asking “Who is a life partner? In his psychotic mind we’re life partners. Oh, and? He went to Jared. She went to Cartier, he went to Jared. It’s a joke.”
She also made it clear she doesn’t feel bad for Joseline in the least bit:
“I was dying laughing because she thought ‘Oh, he’s proposing to me in front of her, he’s showing me he loves me,’ and then he turns around and gives me one too.
“F— her. And f— her again. F— HER. That insensitive a-s b-tch can suck a d—. I don’t like her, she’s a f—ing asshole, she means me no f—ing good, f— her.”
Joseline seems to see things completely differently despite Stevie admitting he bought two life partner rings. In her mind, Stevie J. actually proposed and meant to be sweet with the rings:
“He didn’t propose to both of us. He gave her a friendship ring. As far as him giving her a friendship ring, I don’t have any problem with that, I don’t think he should have did it on the same day that he gave me a ring on my wedding finger, but Stevie do things how he wanna do them, I’m not really tripping on it. He gave her a pinky ring and he gave me mine for my wedding finger, so it’s a big difference.
“I believe when he gave her that friendship ring, he shouldn’t have done it on the same day that he gave me my ring, but after we went home and talked about it, it’s not even that serious.”
And while many people see red flags at Stevie calling what he has with Joseline and Mimi “life partner gang,” Joseline is cool with that now:
“I think that Stevie chooses his words however he wants to choose them, and I learned not to take Stevie so seriously because I’m always with him, we’re always together, so I don’t take too seriously what Stevie says anymore to his baby mother or to anybody else. I just learn to laugh at it and go with the flow, as long as he keeps getting me those deals and getting me those checks.”
The whole thing is funny to me because now Joseline is Mimi. She’s lying to herself about what she has with Stevie J. He doesn’t love her, he loves the money and attention that comes with being with her.
Cosign!!! Joseline forgets that karma’s been hovering since Day 1 – you openly disrepect another another female like that, and you get bit in the butt, big time (no pun intended). I know Mimi gets a lot of flack on this site, but personally I like her and Joseline deserved to get clowned like she did.
How you gonna start off the season talking about business, the music and your checks, blah, blah, blah, and then let Stevie’s trifling behind dog you like that. Ugh!!!
Joseline is the new Mimi! Hilarity!
Ain’t it though?
LOL why is Joseline still calling this stunt an engagement? They will never get married. Stevie J. ain’t even the marrying kind.
Joseline is so clueless. Hopefully it won’t take her 15 years to see it for what it is…
Joseline sounds so stupid but we will see where Stevie J’s loyalty is when the money runs out and she is no longer valuable for him to use. Good luck with new MiMi lol
Joseline called Mimi weak but she’s looking real weak right now! You proposed, he said no. And then gave your enemy a rind in front of you. But now you’re defending him? Her self esteem is eve lower than Mimi’s.
Eve is the smartest woman Stevie has even been with. It didn’t take her long to realize Stevie was not the kind of man you stay with and marry. This is what happens when you use your brain and not your woman parts to figure out who to be with.
I guess Joseline is cool with it now because she’s trying to stretch out her 15 mins. Can’t be relevant without Stevie.
Exactly. And they will say they are married or really get engaged at the reunion to secure that spin off show.
Really Joseline? It’s like she’s not even the same person from last season. Smh.
Mimi wins. LOL.
Low self esteem man, low self esteem.
They are all just about the money and fame. Both will be short lived. I hope they realize that very soon.
These cheap actors are hilarious. I don’t know how these women do it, but I couldn’t let a man play me for a VH1 check. #shrugs
It’s like Stevie and Joseline are in two different worlds. She thinks they are engaged and Stevie just thinks they are in some ring club.
Joseline is a weak woman and clearly you have to be to date Stevie J.
Where would these people be without money? What bothers me about this sitch is that Mimi will happily accept every gift Stevie or any other dude gives her after she talks all that b.s. As far as Joseline, I think she does understand Stevie and his odd ways. They somehow work for her. Now she better not have a baby with him because that will be the end of this duo.
I just feel terribly sorry for both women.
Stevie J. is so ugly to me.
