The Torrei Hart Kevin Hart divorce made plenty of headlines as the comedian and his wife of nearly eight years decided to call a quits. Kevin blamed his infidelity and the lying phase he went through on the demise of his marriage to Torrei and says he is a better man now as he has learned from the mistakes he made in the past. Torrei also spoke on the divorce and she admitted seeing Kevin move on so quickly after they ended things did hurt her. Although Kevin and Torrei are no longer together, that won’t stop Torrei from supporting her ex-husband and his career. HipHollywood caught up with Torrei Hart to get her opinion on Kevin’s hit movie “Let Me Explain” and asked her how she felt about Kevin joking about the things that went down during their past relationship in his stand-up routine. And she says:
“I did see it. I saw it before it came out because I actually went to his [Kevin’s] house and saw some of the rough edits so I gave a little bit of my opinion there. And then I went to the movies over the weekend and I saw it. And I thought it was really funny. I thought he did a great job. I’m very proud of him.
“I do laugh at it because I think it’s hilarious. I definitely laughed at when he took it back to like when I was 20 years old, about jumping out of the trunk. And mind you, it was not a trunk. It was a truck. And I was 20 years old and you know, sometimes you do crazy things when you’re young so I did laugh at that. I was like ‘Wow, he really took it back.’ But it was very funny.”
Torrei was also asked if she thinks she will ever work with Kevin in the future. And she says:
“Well you know what, I’m not sure. I mean, I’m not opposed to it. Who knows what the future holds. It’s a good possibility.”
Although Torrei and Kevin appeared to be going through a lot of drama with their divorce based on reports, Torrei says they were still friends after they officially split:
“They [the media] definitely tried to spin it. We were still friends. Don’t get me wrong, on days when we went to court, it was tension. But we were never enemies, never like ‘F you.’ No, we were never at that level, ever.”
On whether or not she was upset with some of the headlines she saw about the drama with Kevin’s lawyer and if the reports were true:
“No, it was very true. He had a good lawyer. But the funny thing is, she’s now my attorney. How ironic is that? But she was good, Debra Opri. Shout out to Debra. She was a great attorney…I did have a moment where I wanted to attack her in the courtroom. And I did go after her and that’s when I kinda just said, you know what, I’m losing my character, I’m losing myself. And that’s when I kinda backed down and just said you know what, it’s not worth. Let’s just end this right here.”

I really like her she seems down to earth and genuine and that’s hard to find good luck with that Kevin lol.
