We told you several months ago after Usher was awarded primary custody of his two sons with ex-wife Tameka Raymond that the whole thing was far from over and with their son’s recent accident in the pool and court documents filed from Tameka demanding custody of the two boys just hours after, it’s clear we had it right. Not only is Tameka demanding to be granted primary custody of the boys because she feels the R&B singer is just too busy to watch the kids, but as we confirmed recently, the judge in their custody trial had to step down after she was investigated for unethical actions. Tameka has been hard at work to get an appeal on the judge’s decision, and now it appears another judge has decided to grant Tameka’s request for an emergency hearing post their son nearly dying yesterday because of an accident in the swimming pool. The Associated Press reports:
Usher’s ex-wife asked for an emergency custody hearing a day after one of the pair’s sons nearly drowned in a pool at the singer’s Atlanta home.
A lawyer for Tameka Foster Raymond filed the request in Fulton County Superior Court on Tuesday. The court filing says the boy “suffered a near-death accident” while left unsupervised in a pool at the Grammy winner’s home. A judge has set a hearing for Friday.
In the documents filed to the court by Tameka’s attorney, the ex-wife to the singer claims he travels too much and it’s no longer in their sons’ best interests to be under the supervision of nannies:
Usher has failed to discuss issues affecting the children with Tameka Raymond and leaves the children with caregivers when he travels around the world for work rather than parenting them himself, Tameka Raymond said in a sworn statement attached to the court filing. It isn’t in the best interests of the children to be left in the care of third-party caregivers, and Tameka Raymond is capable of caring for the children, the statement says. The children have said they’d rather be with her than with caregivers, the statement says.

This whole thing with Usher and Tameka brings out the devil in some people. People running around here blaming this woman for the death of her son. You have to be a sick, twisted, demonic person to say some mess like that. And the child was with his father at the time. I know people stan for Usher, but it’s not okay at all to make fun of her loss like that.
And Usher would have done the same thing and went after primary custody had this happened when Tameka had them. I mean he actually did take the kids from her. How soon we forget though…
I agree. Neither Tameka or Usher are innocent in my opinion.

This is sad this should be bringing them closer together not putting them at odds because this could have been another tragedy.
I think it was a mistake. But they are Tameka’s kids too. She’s probably genuinely isn’t happy with the people Usher has around the kids.
So messy. Tameka could have at least waited and let Usher get his emotions together first.

Dumb as hell… “emotions together”???? Did he wait for her to get hers together when he took custody? I’m no Tameka fan but I hope any mother worth anything would fight for kids given the opportunity!
Actually, he requested to delay the trial after Tameka’s son died, but Tameka wanted to move forward anyway. #shrugs
Nah Usher fans will keep blaming this woman for everything like he didn’t do some dirt himself.
Did he wait for her to get herself together after her son passed….before he took her kids away?
He asked the court to postpone the trial, but your girl Tameka demanded to move forward because she thought she was going to keep the kids. #whoops
So what he asked for a delay…what was a delay going to do? Was he going to have a change of heart during that delay? No!
Well I think she may have a case seeing as how this same aunt she took issue with watching the children during the trial. #whoops
lol nope. But I’ll let you see that for yourself. Remember, money talks and Usher has PLENTY of it.

So you admit Usher shouldn’t have gotten the kids in the first place and money is how he did it?
Yes I am. I’m not a fan of Usher ( I don’t dislike him though), I’m just someone who peeped game a while ago about what these famous men are doing with the court system and shady judges/lawyers. This is the new trend and it will happen more and more to ex wives and mothers of celebs. You have to pay to play now and they even share the same crooked attorneys to get full custody. Tameka won’t win…again.
Usher was willing to hold off on the trial after Kyle passed away, but it didn’t matter. He had it in the bag from jump. Not because Tameka is a bad mom, but he has the money to get his way. That’s why these women need to be willing to co-parent peacefully. If they start a war, they will lose badly.
Edit, mothers of the offspring of celebs. My mistake.

The sad part is that the only individuals profiting from this type of crap is the system that makes interactions between men and women adversarial in the first place.

First of all it wasn’t Usher’s son. Secondly “SHE” left her first set of kids to be with Usher. The only reason she wants these kids is because they come with Ushers money. I’m just sayin……
