Erica Dixon Talks New Boyfriend, Reveals His Recent Brush with Death

Erica Dixon and O’Shea seem to be still going strong. Erica Dixon has moved on from her on and off again love/baby daddy Lil Scrappy, and the “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta” stars are both claiming that unlike the past, this time the possibility of them getting back together is pretty slim. Although both are willing to peacefully coparent for the sake of their daughter Emani, even Lil Scrappy just feels it’s time to move on and he’s doing so with “Basketball Wives LA” personality Bambi. However, Erica is insisting her new romance with up and coming model O’shea Russell is very real, and things do seem to be getting pretty serious according to her Instagram account. But in a recent interview with the Hip Hop Socialite, Erica reveals there’s important reasons why she feels O’Shea is the better man for her and she even revealed the major scare he experienced that brought them closer together as a couple.

On how she met O’Shea, Erica says:

“We met over Memorial Day weekend, and we was just cool, just friends. You know, just talking and kicking it. One thing led to another, and we both started developing feelings for each other, so we just made it official.”

“He’s recovering right now from a car accident; he got hit by a car, so right now, he’s just healing from a car accident. He was actually walking and got hit. He’s doing a lot better, a lot better.”

Erica says things have gotten so serious O’Shea has already met her daughter Emani:

“Yes, he’s met Emani, and she likes him, so I’m happy about that.”

She says she’s also very thankful that she has a man she can pray with:

“He’s a man of God, that’s what I love the most about him; he’s a man of God. You know we pray together, and we just keep God first and foremost in our relationship and in everything we do.”
