The Royce Reed Jennifer Williams fired from Basketball Wives talk started up shortly after season 4 of the show came to an end. And it was only a matter of time before the truth behind the rumors surrounding Royce and Jennifer’s fate on the show was revealed. Royce Reed made the announcement via Twitter months ago that she, Kesha Nichols and Jennifer Williams’ time as cast members of “Basketball Wives” was over. The news of Kesha, Jen, and Royce’s departure from BBW didn’t sit well with many BBW viewers considering the fact that Tami Roman and Evelyn Lozada were set to return for another season despite how they behaved on previous seasons. Evelyn, Tami and Shaunie attempted to explain why the cast changes were made and promised viewers they would not witness any more bottles being thrown or purses being snatched on the upcoming season. So far, they have kept their word despite the lightweight beef going on between Tami and Shaunie.
As far as Royce Reed and Jennifer are concerned, aside from the ongoing drama she has going on with her son’s father NBA star Dwight Howard, Royce has been focusing a lot on further pursuing her dance career and other projects while Jennifer Williams nabbed an endorsement deal with Shine ‘n Jam and now has her own line of lip gloss.
Royce Reed has made her feelings about Shaunie O’Neal and “Basketball Wives” known before. And with the new season of the show already underway, people were wondering how Royce and Jen felt about the show at this point and if they missed on it. Judging from their tweets, Royce and Jen are very glad they aren’t apart of the show anymore.
Jennifer Williams appeared to be taking a shot at the show’s ratings so far this season with one of her recent tweets. And she says she parted ways with BBW right on time:

Shaunie O’Neal threw a little shade of her own at Royce and Jen as she seems to think Royce and Jennifer’s presence isn’t needed to pull in ratings:

I think they did get out right in time and their images aren’t as messed up as the one who did stay. Shaunie will never get the respect people once had for her back.
