ASAP Rocky slaps female fan during “Made in America” concert in Philadelphia? Rapper ASAP Rocky’s name definitely falls on the list of the most popular yet controversial rappers out right now. As the Harlem native’s fan base continues to grow, ASAP’s behavior and alleged violent antics during appearances have put the rapper in a negative light. As we previously reported, ASAP Rocky got highly upset mid-performance when his hat came up missing during his show in Germany and demanded it be returned to him immediately or else the show was going to get cut short. And things supposedly got really crazy at his concert in Sydney, Australia as ASAP Rocky was caught on film allegedly slapping one of his overzealous female fans in the face for playfully trying to snatch his hat off his head as he walked past her.
ASAP Rocky really must have a problem with his fans tugging on his gear as it is now being reported that the rapper got hit with an assault charge for allegedly slapping a female fan at the “Made in America” concert last Saturday in Philly. According to a report from TMZ, the alleged victim who happens to be a mother filed a complaint to the DA’s office today as she claims the rapper got physical with her. The woman claims ASAP Rocky was trying to move through a crowd of dancing fans who were pulling on his shirt. She then says the rapper turned around and allegedly slapped her in the face and the impact of the alleged slap left her with whiplash. After reviewing the case the fan brought to them, the District Attorney’s office made the decision to charge ASAP Rocky with misdemeanor simple assault.
ASAP Rocky nor his camp have spoken out on the alleged incident as of yet.
