R&B singer Chris Brown has made it clear on several occasions that he blames the media mostly these days for his bad boy image. Though he has said many times that he takes responsibility for assaulting Rihanna in 2009, he does think it’s unfair that so many people refuse to let him move forward from the incident. In his recent interview with JET Magazine, he even claimed that he feels like Jay Z gets a pass for his troubled past and he’s laying the blame for that squarely on the media. But it appears Chris’ mom Joyce Hawkins may have a slightly different opinion when it comes to the issues Chris has been facing lately.

Momma Breezy recently took to Twitter to slam one of Chris’ homeboys, and while we’re not exactly sure what even went down to make it come down to this, she made it clear through her tweets that she does not trust this particular young man. Apparently Joyce seems to think this young guy is trying to ruin Chris’ life in some way or form and she dragged him on Twitter. When Team Breezy began to ask her who she was subtweeting, she told them she would tweet out the latest thing he posted on Instagram so he could be identified. She tweets (read tweets from bottom to top):

She then told the young man he is not welcomed to Chris’ hometown state of Virginia:

Chris hasn’t joined in on the Twitter dragging. In related news, Chris did confirm the release date for his upcoming “X.” After being pushed back several times, he confirmed on Twitter that it will be released on November 19.

  1. Chris is old enough to pick his own friends. I get that she is concerned but he is a grown man. He should know by now how to pick associates.

  2. Uh oh. Well it’s not like no one else on here hasn’t said it…Chris has some questionable people hanging around him.

  3. This guy is probably the typical hanger on. Chris needs to stop hanging with all these unemployed losers. All they want from him is for him to pay their bills and they need to make their own money.

  4. This is the same woman who tweeted Michael Jackson died so her son could live. Why on earth wasn’t her Twitter account deleted then? Twitter, please make it happen.

  5. A lot of Chris’ friends or those damn OHB boys are trouble. And they aren’t doing anything but using Chris for money and fame. He needs to wake up and pay attention.

  6. While I do agree that Chris has some very shady friends, I don’t think this was the best way to send this message. Chris is her son, she should have just called him and told him how she felt about this guy. Ultimately he has to make the choice if he still wants him around or not.

  7. If I had to guess, I’d say he’s probably bringing drugs around Chris. It does look like that’s drugs coming out of the cereal box.

  8. Ummmm his Mother needs to have a talk with her meal ticket oh I mean her Angel…Lol Lol I am sure none of his shady friends are holding pistols on him, and besides Chris Brown is a MAN he fights women. Mother Brown needs to fall back and get off of twitter………..

  9. OMG, I really love Chris Brown & his music, YES I said it and I’m a grown a-s woman!! I really do feel as if he is really misunderstood and has issues we don’t know about… I’m also glad that he & RIhanna are no more, that relationship was way too toxic and in no way an I blaming the victim but she… NO, I’m not gonna say it but ya’ll she Rihanna these days, that girl is seriously damaged and needs some help her DAM self!!

But I digress…were talking about Mom Breezy now and All I got to say to her is ALL THAT TWEETING IS DEFINATELY NOT A GOOD LOOK for you or your SON!! #UNeed2StopMom
