Halle Berry Gives Birth to a Baby Boy

Actress Halle Berry admitted in the past that her luck with men wasn’t the best, and because her marriages to David Justice and Eric Benet ended on such sour notes, she contemplated never getting married again. However, she was always interested in becoming a mother, even if it meant having a baby without a wedding. She dated model Gabriel Aubry and had a daughter before their romance began to get rocky, and both would eventually start to hate each other’s guts as they fought in the courts for custody of their daughter Nahla. In the end, those close to Halle claim things have gotten a little more peaceful between Halle, Gabriel and Halle’s husband Olivier Martinez and she confirmed several months ago that she was pregnant with her first child with Olivier.

Reports suggested the actress was expecting a boy with her new husband, and now it’s been confirmed by E! News that the actress gave birth over the weekend.

According to the website, Halle gave birth to her son Saturday at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, and the couple is reportedly excited about the arrival of their new bundle of joy.

Halle even said recently that she was shocked she had even gotten pregnant for a second time because she is in her late 40s (Halle is 47 years old), and she even mistook her pregnancy for kidney stones. She told HELLO! Magazine recently:

“I was at the doctor’s when they told me and I was completely shocked … I didn’t see it coming. I went to the doctor because I thought I had kidney stones or something. So it was a massive surprise.

“[Nahla’s] really happy. Not long ago she asked God for a little sister, but I tried not to get her hopes up. At 46, I didn’t know if I’d be able to get pregnant again.”
