Stevie J owes child support? “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta” star Stevie J. keeps saying he’s a newly married man, but if the latest accusations about him contain any truth, he may end up in jail soon and unable to enjoy his alleged new marriage to Joseline Hernandez. According to a new report from All Hip Hop, the reality star and producer is being accused by a former girlfriend of owing millions of dollars in unpaid child support.
In fact, Stevie’s former girlfriend Carol Bennett confirmed to the website that Stevie’s assets are currently being targeted, and she contacted Bounty Alert and the Custodial Support Foundation which specializes in recovering hidden assets hidden by individuals who are deliberately neglecting their child support duties. She seems to think Stevie J. is hiding assets and is not being honest about his finances to get out of coughing up the child support payments he owes.
Both organizations have launched investigations in an attempt to discover if there are any hidden assets, but reps for Bennett say she doesn’t plan to stop there. They are looking into sending Stevie J. to jail with the help of the 1992 Child Support Recovery Act. According to the statute, it is against the law for a person to leave a state owing more than $10,000 in child support for more than two years.
Stevie faces jail time due to the fact that he allegedly owes 20 times that amount when he left New York for Georgia. It’s being reported that he owes $1.2 million. Bennett and Stevie have two children together and she claims she is a former music executive who helped Steve launch his career in the music industry.
There will be a press conference held on the situation on October 31 and Stevie’s ex plans to put all of Stevie’s business on blast regarding the child support issue.
If this is true, Stevie is a really low down dude. Smdh.
So is this going to be his storyline for next season? LOL.
Of course. Watch her be on the show next season as a new cast member.
Damn shame. He said he was doing the show to get bread, well the least he could have done was break that bread with his kids.

He ain’t got $1.2 million dollars. People on reality shows don’t make that much money unless they are the fame whoring Kardashians.
This is just sad. I hate to hear about men not paying child support. Time to be more responsible and step up.
Let me find out Stevie was too busy parading around his fake marriage to take care of his kids.
He’s a bum if this is true. Even if he doesn’t have the money, he’s getting some of that LHH money now and can at least give what he can. To no pay anything is some straight up loser behavior.
Now this is a damn shame. How the hell does he owe $1.2 million in child support. Smh.
I wouldn’t put this past Stevie. He seems like he would do something like this.
I doubt Stevie has that kind of money and I still think he may be broke now even if he is on TV. People have to remember he was in Diddy’s crew back in the day which means he never got paid.
He’s a bum then. How do you sit up there and let your late child support payments build up like that? SMDH.
Press conference? Is she trying to get on the show too? She’s doing the most. Stevie J ain’t important enough to hold a press conference. We all know he’s broke. That’s not news.
But does she really need to hold a press conference though? That’s kind of weird.
Not if Gloria Alldred is representing her!
