So is Kelly Rowland engaged? The very beautiful Kelly Rowland stopped by “the Arsenio Hall Show” the other day, and of course Arsenio had to ask her the questions everyone has just been dying to know. And these days everyone is dying to know if Kelly really did get engaged to her rumored boyfriend and manager Tim Witherspoon.

The singer has been spotted holding Tim’s hand in public since the rumors began to spread, and she is sporting what appears to be a very gorgeous engagement ring on her ring finger. However, when Arsenio flat-out asked her if she was engaged, she wouldn’t directly confirm, but she did say:

“You know what I will say? I am very happy and I believe in Black Love. I’m so happy.”

And when Arsenio pressed her more and asked her if that is indeed an engagement ring she’s been rocking as of late:

“Oh stop it now. You know how private I am.”

It sounds like someone really is engaged to us.

Kelly also once again addressed her critics who feel she should work more on trying to be as big as Beyonce has become since her split with Destiny’s Child. And to that, Kelly says:

“You have to grow. You just can’t stay in one space your whole life. And you also as a woman can’t expect to be on someone else’s level and don’t allow other people to put you on someone else’s level and look at what someone else has thinking, ‘Oh I want that.’ You should want your own path. I don’t want my sister’s path. I don’t want nobody else’s path. I want my own.

“But it took me a long time to figure that out. But the rest of the world is telling me something else and I’m like, “Hmmmm.’ And I had to figure it out on my own. I like my path and I got a damn good path. God knows what he’s doing.”

Well said. Check out the clips below:

  1. She doesn’t have to take Beyonce’s path but she needs to get a better team and try to make her own mark as a solo artist. Doing that doesn’t mean she’s trying to be Bey. Smh.

  2. This is why her album didn’t do well. She doesn’t have to take Bey’s path, but she needs to amp up her marketing team. That’s what Bey did and any other singer who wanted to become successful. Why does she refuse to be logical about her singing career?
