Outkast fans have been awaiting a reunion for years, and weeks ago it was rumored that the reunion could be happening in Coachella form.
Big Boi even excited fans and hinted that there was some truth to the rumor when he posted a photo of himself hanging out with Andre 3000 to Instagram, but now it’s been officially confirmed that the group is reuniting and co-headlining Coachella 2014.
Big Boi even tweeted a flyer of the good news:
The dates for Coachella 2014 are April 11, 12, 13, 18, 19 and 20 in Indio, California.
While there’s still no word yet on if the duo has any plans to also record a studio album anytime soon, fans are just excited to see Big Boi and Andre 3000 take the stage as a group again and not solo artists.
Yassssss!!!!
This is great and all but I’m hoping another album is on the way too. Hip Hop needs another Outkast album.
Good! Now I hope they get in the studio and make another classic album while they’re at it.
Give us another album!!!
That’s what I’m talking about. Welcome back Outkast!
I’m so glad Dre got over himself. He was letting outside pressure get in his head.
The best news I have heard today hopefully an album is coming soon.
I gotta get my tickets then. I was waiting to see if this was true first. This is great news.
Tickets go on sale tomorrow people! 🙂
I love it! And I’m keeping my fingers crossed for another album but this is a very good sign that one is on the way.
Atlanta legends.
Best thing I’ve heard all day.
Hip Hop needs the return of Outkast
Now YOU know I’m in there at Coachella and wherever they perform in the A.
