Outkast made their fans happy when they confirmed they would tour together this year, and it didn’t take long for people to start suspecting that another album from the group was also in the works. But now Big Boi has set the record straight, and he says as for now, they are not working on a new Outkast album.
He tells Revolt TV:
“No, no, no. We’re just doing the tour only, just for the fans. That’s all it is, just the tour. I got a solo record I’m working on. But, it’s just the Outkast 20th year anniversary, just a way for us to celebrate with our fans, but there’s no album in the works, no.”
We have to admit, we’re kind of bummed by the confirmation that a new Outkast album isn’t on the way. But at least we can expect upcoming solo albums from Big Boi and Andre 3000 in the near future.
Sigh…I’m about to just give up hope on another album forever.

Well at least they are touring together. I guess we should be thankful for that at least.
I blame Erykah Badu for turning out Andre 3000.
That album is never going to happen. It’s about time everyone just accepts it.
Stop teasing us Outkast!
The hype is too large at this point. Anything they put out would not meet the expectations.
