Kenya Moore says NeNe Leakes is to blame for the “Pillow Talk” fiasco, but NeNe Leakes feels she shouldn’t be held responsible for adults making the choice to get physical at her event.

In her recent Bravo blog, NeNe says that she cannot be blamed for the actions of other grown people. She writes:

Yes, questions were being asked that some were uncomfortable with! I DID NOT write the questions, but I asked them, so blame me for that! I’ll accept that! I’ll even accept you saying I stirred the pot, but I can’t take the blame for uncontrollable adults picking up their fists to fight. Everyone is responsible for their own actions! Well, how do you have a debate without controversy? I guess you don’t! I don’t want to rehash this conversation any more than I already have. I already stated that Kenya charged out of her seat, and whether you could see it or not she did, and I stand by that! I also said Christopher NEVER touched her in an aggressive way. He was only trying to stop her from charging his wife, and I stand by that! I’m the first to tell you that a man should never touch a woman aggressively, and he didn’t! The rest of the ladies on the cast have spoken, so I rest my case.

She also clapped back at Kenya for claiming she was “gay bashing” for calling Brandon a queen repeatedly:

P.S. Did I hear someone say I was “gay bashing” because I called Brandon a queen? Really? Bravo has a show called Fashion Queens with two very out gay men in women’s clothing, makeup, jewelry, and high heels! Are they “gay bashing”? Try something else, boo, because that won’t work! Girl, bye.

  1. I agree that no one forced anyone to fight that night. So she’s right about that. But if people want to call NeNe the sh-t starter, they have to say the same thing about Kenya. Kenya is the one who started talking recklessly about Christopher/Natalie’s marriage. And she kept bringing it up. I guess it’s because she didn’t really have a storyline before they came into the picture, so she took it and ran with it. But when Christopher and Natalie try to respond at the party, she’s now all of a sudden the victim. None of this would have happened if Kenya would shave minded her business and didn’t feel the need to speak on someone else’s relationship. Makes no sense to me.

    1. OMG thank you! It’s like people have selective memory when it comes to Kenya. You can like someone and be honest. Kenya is not without fault here. The only person blameless is Porsha.

    2. I think we have all seen this fight too many times…Cynthia should have kept her private conversation between her and her friend period or went to Kandi and said I’m looking out for you….blah blah blah..but to say it on a bus with these ladies oh please…and Nene knows if Christopher would have grabbed her arm they would still be in that room fighting…I think Kenya had a right to stand up and address the couple yelling at her…I think Christopher and his wife had the right to address her…but Apollo and all that other mess was just that mess…No one in this was a saint…not Nene, not Kenya and not Cynthia

  2. Yeah it’s going to go down at the reunion. So will Kenya be ready this time or will she look like a deer caught in headlights like the last one?

    1. Nah. She’s reading all her mentions and copying and pasting the reads her stans are sending her because she can’t come up with any shade on her own.

      1. LOL! It’s funny you say that because last night she was saying a lot of things she retweeted a few days ago. No original thought of her own. Very disappointing!

  3. I agree with NeNe. Apollo is the kind of men that doesn’t tolerate disrespect towards him or his wife at any level.Brandon played the part of defenseless woman well. In other news..Kenya has a serious problem with accountability.

  4. I’m a Kenya fan, but I do have to understand NeNe’s point here. Yes, NeNe instigated it but the men fought on their own. So she can’t be blamed for that. And that’s just me being honest even though I do love me some Kenya.

    1. You’re a rarity because none of Kenya’s fans want to admit the truth! She is not without fault. But she doesn’t deserve all the blame either. No one does!

  5. Multiple people were wrong. But for some reason, no one really wants to admit that. Instead everyone wants to blame one person and that’s just stupid to me. But whatever. I don’t want to get too emotional involved in a reality show.

  6. I agree with holding everyone responsible for their own actions. But that’s not what Kenya is about. She must always be the victim. Always.

  7. I don’t like the direction this show is going into. It used to be fun and about women shading each other and it was funny. But now it’s way too deep and negative. NeNe is no saint, but Kenya has made the show something really dark and it’s hard to keep watching at this point. And I don’t like how she’s trying her hardest to get people to push for NeNe being fired. Like this just isn’t funny anymore and it’s gotten way too serious.

  8. I agree with NeNe. Kenya is pathetic she is trying to discredit NeNe in anyway accusing her of gay bashing and that is reaching. She knows what she is doing trying to get the gay community to come down on NeNe. This proves Kenya is a sh-t starter.

  9. I really feel like Kenya is very manipulative. She purposely covers all the drama she creates by changing the subject all together. She also lies a lot! I watched that episode again and did not see Chris walk towards her before she got up. But she came to him and Natalie though. And then she says she’s never been violent but are we supposed to forget the incident with Porsha last season or her getting in NeNe’s face and grabbing her ear? The fact that she keeps trying to be the victim but picks on people on the regular in the nastiest of ways is hypocritical. She is no better than NeNe. In fact, she may be even worse because she actually causes destruction in her path. And why is it ok for her to call Kandi fat and make fun of her weight? Or how about when she made fun of Phaedra’s weight while she was pregnant? She lied about a relationship and slandered Walter’s sexuality when he told the truth. She’s not a good person herself. And I’m supposed to believe she’s 100% honest about the situation here? Why? She’s lied so much before.

  10. Kenya is barking up the wrong tree. She can win in public opinion all damn day, but Nene has backup where it matters…BRAVO! Nene is not going anywhere. That is why Bravo jacked up the poll and Andy is very transparent. That should have been a sign to Kenya to chill out but she’s too cocky for her own good. And all the other housewives will not back Kenya because Nene still runs the damn show. If Kenya doesn’t watch it, next season they will all protest her and no one will shoot any scenes with her. Then she will be replaced by one of the wannabes shes arguing with now. She’s popping right now but she’s burning a lot of bridges she just crossed one season ago. I see Bravo keeping her and Nene next season, but they are going to torture Kenya. She has no idea the fire she’s s playing with. And she’s a fool for calling out Andy on Twitter about that poll. But her ignorance on how to play the game makes for good TV.

    1. I keep trying to tell those NeNe haters out here not to get it confused. Yeah Kenya is doing her thing, but NeNe is still in charge. They rigged that poll too because they ain’t about to cut ties or burn bridges with NeNe. They built the freaking show around her and picked the first cast based off who SHE wanted. Kenya is crazy if she thinks that will change in one season. And NeNe will be even more off the chain now because she ain’t got Glee no more.

  11. I hate that women are being held responsible for the actions of grown men! NeNe did not force them to fight! Neither did Kenya! I know they are bums but they are grown enough to know better. So stop blaming the women people!

  12. Kenya plays the villain very well but NeNe is the ORIGINAL villain. She does the dirt Bravo knows will bring in the ratings and they pay her well for that. It never ends well for the women who get on her bad side. Kenya will be miserable by the time Bravo and NeNe get done with her. Remember you read it here first.

  13. I honestly think Bravo should keep Nene and Kenya. They have those bossy personalities and make the perfect enemies! It just works and they know it. Expect both to come back next season. 🙂

  14. I still don’t think it was right for Chris to grab her arm period when nene got all up in peoples face no one grabbed her arm an it seems he was easing towards Kenya from the jump

  15. If it was ok for Brandon to defend Kenya, it is ok for Christopher to defend Natalie. Both men felt the women were in danger, yet Brandon is the only one in the right? LOL. Please. Just sayin!

  16. When you restrain someone or want to stop them from hitting someone, what do you do? You grab them. You hold them back. That is what Chris did. No one seems to mind that other people were grabbed that night to prevent any more violence, but Chris is wrong tho? Yeah. Whatever. Not buying it. Chris and Brandon did what they had to do to keep Kenya and Natalie safe. Period. I don’t blame either for that. Apollo is a different story.

  17. No shade, but I think I’m done with RHOA after the reunion. All the Kenya/NeNe stanning and bashing as people make up their own versions of what happened is making me sick. Back in the day you watched the show and just got a good laugh. People weren’t on blogs and Twitter writing essays and dissertations. People weren’t taking it so seriously that they hated someone on the show. It was just fun. It’s too much for me now.

  18. Fail. Everyone looked dumb that night except Porsha. They can finger point all day but I stan for no one and call it like I see it. The only person that has no blame at all is Porsha’s dingy a-s. And from that night alone, I’m thinking she isn’t as dumb as we thought. She was smart enough to haul a-s when she needed to while fool 1 (Nene) and fool 2 (Kenya) gave into ratings. Then the rest of the idiots followed behind.

    1. @Aisha

I agree it was ridiculous…a real turn off and next week Peter and Nene act up at a charity event…come on really…
