It was rumored for months that Marlo Hampton assaulted NeNe Leakes with a water bottle at Cynthia Bailey’s “Bailey Bowl” event, but as we all saw last night, that didn’t happen. Instead, NeNe actually walked away from Marlo as Marlo appeared to be baiting her to engage in a physical confrontation.

Marlo hurled multiple insults NeNe’s way, but NeNe remained silent (she tossed water bottles too) and left the event after Marlo then “cried’ in Kenya Moore’s arms after her former friend gave her the silent treatment in such a public way.

NeNe blogged about last night’s episode, and in the blog she defended her choice to refuse fighting her former friend Marlo although Kandi Burruss claimed she’s still shocked NeNe walked away from a fight.

NeNe writes:

Look, there’s a lot I could say, but instead, I’ll just say this.. Kandi, you have never seen me walk away from a fight and you have never seen me physically fight either have you? My son was at this event and as much as I would like to be mama Joyce & take my shoe off and hit somebody or drag someone down the street, I would never stoop so low to the gutter with my son around, so you are right! I know how to respect myself enough to walk away from something that no longer serves me, grows me or make me happy! In life you have to pick ur battles, everything isn’t worth fighting for or worth the emotional investment!

I never need to speak on the Marlo situation because she’s not important and not a part of this cast, but I supported Marlo and helped her unselfishly when nobody wanted her around! I will repeat: NOBODY! Some of these girls felt like because of Marlo’s criminal background, the fact that she slashed a friends face with a knife and disfigured her over a man, they didn’t want her around! I looked past that and really tried to see her heart! I was honest to a fault with her and a true loyal friend. Say what you want but there are rules to friendship! Everyone that knows me knows that I am a loyal friend and I expect the same in return. In friendship you have to give and take! If I give, that doesn’t mean all you get to do is take! So called “friends” that fraternize with the enemy is an opportunist in my opinion. They smile in your face but they’re looking to take your place.

And if shading Mama Joyce’s history of getting gangsta wasn’t enough, NeNe then decided to take jabs at Marlo’s criminal past:

At the Bailey Bowl, Marlo showed me her street side that everyone talks about! Yes you can put lipstick on a pig but it is still a pig! Do I care that Manlow and Krayonce are friends? Absolutely not! I think they are the perfect match! Marlo has officially graduated from hungry to thirsty! I am sure Krayonce promised her a role in one of her multi-million dollar movies she produces! Kenya has nothing but deceitful evil intentions and Marlo fell for them! I want nothing to do with either of them. When I am done with you, I am done with you!

Thanks again for riding hard for me! I know this ride can get bumpy sometimes!
PS: If I had stayed and gotten into a fight, I would be wrong. If I walked away, I would be wrong. If I didnt show up at all, I would be wrong. So you can’t win!

  1. Now NeNe should have left Mama Joyce out of it. I honestly don’t think Kandi was trying to come for her when she said that.

      1. I don’t think Kandi was throwing shade, moreso making a shady observation, but Nene shaded Kandi previously on the same episode. I don’t think that Nene put Kandi in her place, if anything Nene’s actions are showing that what goes around comes around (remember she was a Mama Joyce in previous seasons, and Nene tried to assault Kim on an earlier season in the limo, so to answer her question, we have seen her get into a physical altercation), but here it is years later, she wants to be on her grown woman thing, and Karma is coming right back to bite her in her butt. She will have fans, because many times fans are loyal, but it really is a case of the pot calling the kettle black in regards to Kenya and Marlo. The same will go for Kenya also, she coming in with a vengeance like Nene in the beginning and what goes around will come around.

      2. Who are you people who defend that moose looking, ugly a$$ donkey faced NeNe?! She is a coward – plain and simple! She knew better than to lay a hand on Marlow because she knew she would be knocked the hell out! And attacking Kandi for doing the very same thing she would have done?! What a hypocritical, broke, desperate and fat loser! She is clearly gaining weight from all the emotional eating she is doing, being UNEMPLOYED and all! ahahahahahahahaha

  2. She’s right about Marlo. Is NeNe childish and territorial with her friends? Yes. But I wouldn’t turn around and befriend a chick trying to take out my homegirl. I’m just too loyal for that. Marlo only cares about Marlo tho. So I’m not surprised she did this. Marlo just better hope Kenya will be around for a good minute because NeNe has been on that show since season one. Kenya just got there.

  3. Why does NeNe have to explain why she didn’t fight? Don’t tell me people are that trashy now that they need to criticize a grown person for not fighting. Is this what it’s come down to in society? We shame people for not fighting now? Sad.

  4. If NeNe did fight, she’d be getting slammed and boycotted. And now she’s wrong for not fighting too? Oh Lawd.

  5. Can’t stand NeNe but I’m glad she didn’t fall for it and fight Marlo. That would have been the end of her if she did because no one would forgive her for fighting.

  6. Well if you throw shade better be able to handle it. Kandi shaded Nene a little and Nene went in. It is just the way it goes. Also Marlo started and instigated the entire mess she was trying to get under Nene’s skin from the get go.

  7. People like to clown NeNe but she’s the most popular person on the show for a reason. Now if she fought last night there would be no more trips to the View and other places because people would be too embarrassed to be associated to someone who fights on TV. NeNe is many things but she ain’t stupid.

  8. All of this is silly to me. Both Kenya and NeNe will be back next season so why are they acting like their jobs are on the line? Both are overdoing it and annoying me right now.

  9. I don’t see how these reality stars do it. I’d go crazy if I had to embarrass myself constantly to keep a check coming in. Man…

  10. Marlo and her nonexistent tears had me cracking up last night. How you a grown woman and crying with no tears like a spoiled brat?

  11. Nene needs to smarten up. Now why on earth did she really think a woman who tricks for designer clothes would be a loyal friend to her? Hookers can’t be trusted.
