Porsha Williams and Kordell Stewart’s marriage may be over, but the fallout between the former couple surely isn’t.
Just a week after Kordell made another appearance on “Real Housewives of Atlanta” to tell his side of what happened between him and Porsha, it now appears some of his friends are speaking out too.
One of his own friends tells Radar Online that Porsha was nothing but a gold digger and used Kordell from day one:
“When [Kordell] met Porsha, she claimed to have all these jobs and opportunities going on, but she really didn’t. She didn’t try to be independent from him and just wanted to be Kordell’s wife – and now she’s nobody.
“She used him and took advantage of the situation in hopes that it would get her to the next level financially and professionally.
“Honestly, if she hadn’t been married to Kordell, she would have never landed the Housewives gig because she had nothing else going for herself outside of him.”
Interestingly enough, the pal goes on to say that now Kordell wants a woman with her own career and money, something he was so against when he was actually married to Porsha:
“He’s looking for someone who is self-sufficient and can take care of herself. He needs someone who is driven and intelligent.”
U are probably right….2 wrongs never make a right…like he uses woman to cover-up who he really is…HELL THE SHOW WASN’T THE FIRST TO DISH THAT DIRT ON HIM….
Damage control. Kordell does not want a woman with her own period. I’ll believe that when pigs fly.
I’m confused as to why Kordell’s friends are still talking about Porsha. Isn’t the marriage over? Hell, even Porsha hasn’t been talking about him in interviews anymore. Time to move on. I’m sure both contributed to the demise of their marriage, and Kordell ain’t no saint.

LOL Kordell is really trying to clean up his image. Now he knows damn well he doesn’t want a woman who has a job. He wants a housewife and a woman who looks good and follows orders.

Sooooo did his PR rep write this? Because everyone knows the problem was Porsha wanted to become her own woman and have a career. So we’re supposed to believe now he actually wants a woman who works? I doubt that.

I always get confused when men marry women who want to be get taken care of and then get mad and call them out for gold digging like it was some secret they found out later. Kordell knew Porsha wanted to be taken care of. He didn’t care then, so don’t try to start caring now.

But I don’t think Kordell can really date a woman who is financially independent. She’s not going to do what she’s told. And he can’t handle that.

I guess we’re supposed to forget about Kordell actually saying out his own mouth that he was done with Porsha when she said she wanted her own career because she went against the deal they made. So this person can have a stadium of seats. This weak attempt at damage control is pathetic.

I’m not even mad at Kordell for trying to repair his image but he has to at least make sure it’s believable.
I really don’t think Kordell should ever get married again. His beliefs of what marriage is are troubling. The fact that he married someone he claims he wasn’t sure about is the first problem, and then his need to control his spouse is another. And the biggest issue of all is he believes it’s ok to end a marriage because of petty problems. People like him don’t need to be married.
Kordell does not want a sulf sufficient woman. He wants a woman like Porsha who will stay at home all day and wait on him and his son. There’s no need to lie about it.
