As we recently reported, Baltimore Ravens star running back Ray Rice found himself in lots of trouble after video of him knocking out his fiancée and then dragging her out of an elevator by her feet made rounds in the media.
According to those close to Rice, he punched his fiancée in the face and knocked her out after she allegedly spat in his face.
But he is now facing up to five years in prison considering he was just indicted for third degree aggravated assault. TMZ reports:
The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office announced the Baltimore Ravens star will face one count of third degree aggravated assault for the February 15 incident involving Janay Palmer.
That’s a felony that could land Rice in prison for 3 to 5 years.
Fiancee? I think both of them need to reconsider getting married since they are spitting in each other’s faces and giving each other uppercuts. IJS.

This is such a sad situation. I hope they aren’t trying to still get married without getting some kind of counseling.
I really don’t think it’s fair his fiancee wasn’t charged with anything when she spat in his face. I’m not giving him a pass, but I think both of them should have gotten charged and thrown in jail.
Exactly! Now she thinks she can do what she wants and suffer no consequences. No bueno.
I’m not surprised I mean he did go Mortal Kombat on her with that uppercut. But she shouldn’t have spit on him. I doubt if he will do time he probably will take a plea.
Damn man. People have to stop letting these unhealthy relationship ruin their lives. You know their relationship is troubled if she’s so mad she’s spitting in his face and he’s knocking her out like she’s a man. Smdh.
They definitely need to rethink getting married! I can see it now. We’ll be reading about them fighting and trying to kill each other months after the wedding! You should never stay with anyone that thinks it’s ok to be violent when they are angry.
