There has been lots of rumors swirling around regarding the upcoming season of “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” and multiple sources are claiming that the cast has united and is boycotting returning in a bid to save Porsha Williams’ job.
But now NeNe Leakes and Cynthia Bailey are setting the record straight and they claim the gossip is completely untrue.
NeNe tells Essence Magazine:
“I don’t know where that came from. I’ve never said that. We don’t group up together to do much. You know all of us aren’t goosing up together to be going to bat for Porsha. We don’t collectively do anything. But I will say this, I don’t think that Porsha deserves to get fired based on the fight with Kenya. I do think she was on the chopping block before she got into the fight. Fighting Kenya did not help her case.”
As far as the fight is concerned, NeNe says Kenya Moore kept calling Porsha dumb at the reunion filming and Porsha just snapped because she got tired of it. But NeNe says regardless of how she feels about Kenya, she thinks Kenya is good for the hit reality show:
“I don’t like Kenya. TMZ or somebody caught me one night coming out of Mr. Chow’s and I said, just jokingly, they need to get Kenya off the show. But seriously, I understand the reality world. There has to be a cuckoo bird. That’s entertainment. I wanna see the show do very well, and I think Kenya brings an element to the show and they should have. I think all of that makes for great television.”
Cynthia Bailey also put the rumors to rest on her Twitter account (read tweets from top to bottom):
Apparently some folks are starting to think all the rumors are coming from the production staff to hype up the reunion show, and we can see that being a possibility.
We also heard that Porsha is officially out for next season, and none of this will be announced until after the reunion airs.
Of course you never know with these folks, so only time will tell.
Yeah UB I think Porsha is gone. NeNe kind of confirmed it. Oh well. Maybe it’s a good thing for her anyway. She needs to get her life in order and find herself.

Aww I liked Porsha. She brought some light humor to the show. But it’s life. Hopefully they bring on someone new who will bring something good to the table. Hopefully it won’t be Mynique.
It’s going to be interesting to see where the show goes from here. They are headed to LHHATL territory and I wonder if it will end up hurting the show when it’s all said and done.
Off topic, that’s the best I’ve seen NeNe’s hair look in a good minute. On topic, I’ll miss Porsha but maybe this is a blessing in disguise for her.
So NeNe finally admits the truth which is Kenya brings something to the show that it needs to be successful. Pigs must be flying outside.
Kenya may be helping the show now but that won’t last. She’s going to end up running this show into the ground. I can guarantee it.
NeNe said she ain’t about to give up a check for Porsha. I can’t say I blame her.
Hmmmm! Wonder of Team Tworl put thpse stories out in the first place to make “Bath Salts” look sympathetic? I would say that was a fail on their part.
Her hair looks good! Anyway, well Porsha is gone. I hate that for her but if they don’t want her around, it’s time for her to move on to something better. I wish her the best!
