Wale Doesn’t Hold Back

Wale has always been an open book when it comes to social media, and because he’s always so quick to express his feelings he’s been labeled as an overly sensitive rapper.

In fact, months ago Wale got angry and very emotional when he was left off a top 50 best albums list for Complex, and the phone call he made to the editor was so full on profanity and rage that Wale was forced to explain himself on social media.

He told a follower recently on Twitter that he doesn’t actually believe his own music is any good and only a fool would (perhaps this was a poor attempt at sarcasm though):

    1. LOL dayum!!!! I don’t even think his music is bad. But his mix tapes will always be better than anything else he does!

    2. Now you know Wale is way too arrogant to really believe anything he does is trash. I think he was just being sarcastic here but him responding in the first place makes him look really insecure.

  1. I think Wale is very talented. I enjoyed his mixtapes but I certainly don’t think his album was trash. Maybe he’s just his biggest critic.

  2. I think he was trying to be sarcastic and failed. I give Wale credit he not the hottest rapper but he does make some quality music to me. He really shines with collaborations that’s when he’s at his best.

    1. Yeah he was trying to be sarcastic but he didn’t do a very good job. The best thing he could have done was ignored him but of course that just makes too much sense. LOL.

  3. Wale was probably just trying to be deep here…he was just b-tching because he felt people were sleeping on his album so I don’t understand why he’s trying to front now.

  4. Sarcastic? But it’s the truth though. That album was wack. He’s capable of doing much better.
