Usher just announced his world tour and he made a recent appearance on Dish Nation to discuss his upcoming tour and his ex-wife Tameka Raymond’s debut to reality television via “Atlanta Exes.”

Interestingly enough, when asked if he even cares about her doing the show, he says:

“No, no. I have no feelings about it whatsoever. Actually, I haven’t even seen it.

“I mean, I’ve been kind of busy. Raising kids…making records…videos.”

The R&B singer was then asked how he feels about Tameka keeping his last name despite their divorce. Usher says:

“She married me. I’ll marry again. And when I do, I don’t want to have a harem. I just hope that when I do, it will be a departure.”

Usher’s confidence in marrying again isn’t surprising since he’s been in a romantic relationship with his manager Grace Miguel for a couple of years.

    1. Because it was shade LOL!

“I mean, I’ve been kind of busy. Raising kids…making records…videos.” —- Meaning, he actually has a real career unlike Tameka and he’s too busy to follow her reality show.

“She married me. I’ll marry again. And when I do, I don’t want to have a harem. I just hope that when I do, it will be a departure.” —– Meaning he hopes Tameka will at least release his last name when he remarries and get the hell on with her life.

    1. Nah. Tameka doesn’t want to get rid of that last name because of who it is attached to. Being married to Usher was the highlight of her life. She will never give that last name up.

  1. I think he handled those questions pretty well; shade included. That’s the route you take when you’ve actually moved on with your life.

  2. I’m not sure why he’s pressed about her keeping his last name. They will always be associated with one another and they have kids together. No matter how hard he tries, he can’t pretend the marriage never happened. He needs to grow up.

  3. If you have a nasty breakup/divorce, why hold on to the last name? I’d want to get rid of it ASAP. But maybe that’s just me.

    1. Well that’s why he should have been more careful about who he married!!!! And I doubt Grace is any less of an opportunist.

  4. There are plenty and I do mean plenty of women walking around here with their ex-husband’s last name. Some prefer to drop it, some don’t, no big deal.

  5. Well that’s the thing bout marriages and divorces. If things don’t work out, you can’t force anyone to change their last name back. Usher is just going to have to suck it up. LOL.

  6. Boy bye. If he is so concerned about her keeping his last name he should have listened to his momma when he had the chance. Since he didn’t, Tameka has every right to do what she wants with it.

  7. Tameka isn’t perfect but this man put her through hell after the divorce. So I don’t think he has any right to tell her what to do with the last name he wanted to give her.
