For the last several days, it’s been rumored that film and television heavyweight Tyler Perry is expecting his first child with his girlfriend Gelila Bekele and now Tyler confirms the news to the Associated Press. Essence Magazine writes:
The ‘Single Mom’ director was asked about the rumor on Friday at the opening night of the New York Film Festival for the film, “Gone Girl”, Perry responded by confirmed happily.
“Good, good. We’re good. Very happy. She’s excited, I’m excited so we’re very happy,” Perry told The Associated Press.
Congrats to Tyler and his lovely girlfriend Gelila.
Congrats, Tyler! I heard she’s young, but already a film maker in her own right.
