Wendy Williams announced recently that she was spearheading the Aaliyah biopic, and the deceased singer’s family expressed they aren’t happy about the upcoming Lifetime movie.
Regardless, Wendy insists that the movie won’t throw Aaliyah under the bus and she feels the family will be happy with the final product.
During her recent appearance on “The View,” Wendy says:
“The family is not happy that the movie is being done but we did it so tastefully, I think the family would be proud. We’re not throwing anybody under the bus.”
Interestingly enough, it was reported weeks ago that Aaliyah’s alleged marriage to R Kelly will be covered in detail.
Check out the movie’s trailer below:
This movie looks boring.
Wendy doesn’t know sh-t about being tasteful.
Lol exactly.
Thank you!!!!
I’m saying though!!!!
I’m not optimistic about this movie.
Looks corny.
That trailer did nothing for me.
Meh.
Wendy has said from Day 1 that she wanted the juicy details…All of them! There’s not going to be anything tasteful about this movie.
Can’t wait.
If they are going to include the R Kelly marriage I’m definitely watching.
Wendy knows damn well this movie is not going to be tasteful. She doesn’t have a tasteful bone in her body and she lives to be controversial.
If Wendy has anything to do with this movie, then we already know it’s going to be messy. I don’t know why she’s trying to front.
