Daytime talk queen Wendy Williams got dragged for hours on social media after Lifetime aired that infamous Aaliyah biopic, and although producers were gracious in responding to the criticism, Wendy is clapping back with cockiness.
As the Executive Producer of the project, she addressed the controversy on her talk show Monday.
The Boom Box writes:
“Everybody got an opinion!” the comedienne laughed. “Whether you loved or hate, you watched.” Wendy then cited that the movie was the second highest-rated movie on all of cable this year. “We all have opinions!”
Wendy couldn’t be more unfazed. Check out the video below (the person who recorded the video utters a few NSFW words in the background):
Wendy has no shame, no values, and no morals. So it makes sense she only cares about the ratings and not the quality of the movie.
Well I didn’t watch. And I certainly won’t now.
Didn’t watch!!!
There’s no hope for this woman. None.
Nope.
Sometimes I wish someone would put a muzzle on this old fool.
Didn’t watch…bye Wendy!
lmfao she is acting like 10 million people tuned in. That movie got Love and hip Hop numbers. I don’t believe it broke any records.
Didn’t care…didn’t watch Wendy!
And this is exactly why I didn’t watch this. I knew Wendy & Lifetime wouldn’t care about the quality of the movie just about the ratings.
Just like on her ratchet radio show and talk show, Wendy will do anything for ratings. This movie was no different. All hype and I’m sure it still was trash.
Those memes, though, were so f’n hilarious…. when is somebody gonna spill the tea on her life?
I’m glad I didn’t watch.
And this is why they got no ratings out of me. Lol.
If she’s proud for her name to be attached to some trash, that’s on her.
You reap what you sow.
Well I damn sure didn’t help her get ratings. I’ll never watch that trash.
