Yesterday social media started buzzing when folks started tweeting that some radio stations in Texas began reporting a main highway would be shut down for a couple of days because Beyonce and Nicki Minaj were planning to shoot a music video for “Feeling Myself.”

Lifted from Minaj’s latest album ‘The Pinkprint‘, scenes for ‘Feeling’s video are being shot today, after reports emerged the ladies had been granted permission to shut down a portion of U.S. Route 59 for filming purposes.
Beyonce fans will understand the significance of Route 59 as it runs through her home state of Texas, name-dropped in the single which was co-written by R&B singer SZA and produced by Hip-Hop producer Hit Boy.
The blog also got a screenshot from the state’s website confirming that the highway has indeed been shut down:

It would be wise on Nicki’s part. They play this song on the radio all day long.
