Kendrick Lamar copped two Grammys last night, so with many anticipating his upcoming studio album, now is a pretty good time for the artist to drop a new track.
Hours ago, Kendrick released “The Blacker the Berry.”
The song come just weeks after the emcee was heavily criticized for his comments on Mike Brown and Iggy Azalea.
Check out the track below:
Blah.
I guess we’re supposed to just forget all that dumb sh-t he said about Mike Brown and Iggy’s basic a-s. He’s starting to give me Kanye vibes.
He makes great music but I’m still disappointed in his comments about Mike Brown. This song doesn’t make me forget what was said.
Agreed.
He is still on my sh-t list.
It’s dope. But seems like damage control.
He lost me with the Ferguson stuff. And I feel like the Grammys rewarded him for it.
*blank stare*
I’m a K Dot fan but this song was mediocre. It’s going to be hard for him to top that last album because it is a masterpiece.
sellouts never cease to amaze me
