Drake pulled a Beyonce last night by surprising his fans by releasing a new mixtape with no heads up, and “If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late,” is already causing quite the stir considering Drake took some shots at Tyga in his new music.
On “6PM in New York,” Drizzy rapped about Tyga’s beef worthy comments about him in his interview with Vibe Magazine, and he also poked fun at Tyga’s rumored romance with 17-year-old Kylie Jenner.
He raps:
“I heard the lil lil homie talking reckless in Vibe,
“It’s quite a platform you chose, you should have kept it inside,
“Oh you tried,
“It’s so childish calling my name on the world’s stage,
“You need to act your age and not your girl’s age.”
When Tyga got word of the diss, he tweeted the following before deleting it (read tweets from top to bottom):

Drake has a good point though. Tyga could have used that Vibe interview to promote himself but he decided to talk about Drake, Nicki and Blac Chyna instead. He also degraded black women in that interview too. That interview only did damage to his career. I think at this point all he can eat off of is collaborations with Chris Brown.
Kind of off topic but not really…. but I’m wondering how well this album will do in sales. When I heard it dropped I went straight to Spotify and it was there. Not a smart move on their part.
Well we knew this would be the result. Drake will take even more shots on his next album. Tyga started something he won’t be able to finish.

This album is dope. Drake never disappoints me.
Isn’t this what Tyga wanted? I mean he wanted a rap beef with Drake, so why is he crying now? And he doesn’t need to bring Chris into this. Chris squashed his beef with Drake.
Lol!! Drake is so messy. He lives right around the corner from Tyga so he’s being messy and just confirming what we already knew. But Tyga needs to stop. He’s not as hard as he pretends to be.

Tyga can say whatever he wants on Twitter but Drake just said the truth. He was childish to come for Drake and Nicki the way he did. And he won’t win because he’s a lame and can’t stay away from those Kardashians.
Drake, Kendrick and J Cole remain the only young rappers I can listen to. Love this album.
