Nicki Minaj was slapped with a lawsuit by her former hair stylist Terrence Davidson, and he claimed Nicki fired him and then started stealing his wig ideas.
He also claims that after he was fired by the rapper, he was then shut out of other business opportunities they planned for the future and it’s affected him financially.
The suit was dismissed last year, but Davidson has appealed.
Wendy Williams recently told her audience that she doesn’t think Nicki will ever be as successful as she was when she wore her controversial wigs, and her comments led to Davidson posting the following on his Instagram account:
Well I won’t lie, she did sell more albums when she was dressing up like a clown. I don’t know why though. Anyway she looks better with the black hair and calmer attire.
Nicki’s album just went gold. She’s doing just fine without all that.
She did? Well then I don’t see why people are acting like she flopped. LOL.
I knew people were going to start saying she needs to go back to those ugly wigs. Ugh artists deserve a right to change and evolve. I prefer this Nicki over the other one.
I think it has to do more with the fact that when she first came out she was more Pop. Now she’s trying to go back to more of a rap sound. I think she will go more Pop on her next album.
Well those wigs did make her pop somewhat. I just wonder why they fell out.
No way I was about to read all that he wrote lol. But I am one of the fans Nicki has actually GAINED since losing the gimmick. You win some and you lose some. It’s impossible to please everybody.
