Nicki Minaj’s latest album “The Pinkprint” didn’t see the explosive first week sales numbers she saw with her other previous studio albums, but she can be proud that her latest effort is now officially gold.

Hip Hop DX writes:

Nicki Minaj has scored another gold album.

According to Nielsen Music, Nicki’s latest output, The Pinkprint, has just sold over 500,000 copies in the United States.

Nick’s third studio album sold 22,000 copies during the week ending Feb. 15, pushing The Pinkprint over the gold milestone.

The Pinkprint has now sold 509,000 copies after debuting at #2 on the Billboard Hot 200 charts. Since the album was released in early December, Nick has more than doubled her first-week sales of 244,000 copies.

All three of Nicki’s studio albums have gone gold. The first two even went platinum.

In more news, Nicki confirmed on Instagram hours ago that she will be touring with her rumored boo Meek Mill:

  1. I don’t understand how she goes from not wanting to claim SB to touring and IG stunting with Meek. It’s just so weird to me.

    1. True and it’s weird to me. The power couple thing comes when both people legitimately have their own success to stand on. Meek is a flop and needs Nick to pop off. She’s already doing this whole thing wrong.

  2. And it begins. I knew that loud a-s bastard got with Nicki to reap the benefits. He’s just another SB to be honest. This is the most attention he’s ever gotten.

  3. I haven’t been following Nicki as a fan for long but I feel like the rumors were planted for the tour. I’m going to give her to benefit of doubt and assume that they aren’t really together. Yep, that makes me feel better. Congrats to her on going gold.
