Kandi Burruss got slammed on social media for not really being empathetic during NeNe Leakes’ emotional breakdown, but she attempted to defend herself on Twitter by insisting that being supportive of NeNe at the time just seemed fake considering their history.
She continues to explain herself and tells Page Six:
“Overall, Nene and I have been arguing that whole day and I am not the person that she would have wanted to console her. And secondly, if the shoe was on the other foot, she would not have come to console me.
“If I got up to console Nene, I would be fake. So I just chose to be real with myself.”
LOL at her still talking about Nene. Pressed.
Time to let it go Kandi.
I don’t think the real issue is she didn’t want to be fake. I mean she’s been fake with her contrived storyline for the last couple of seasons. Being fake has never been an issue before.
She’s still on this?
If you can let someone beat you out of so much money and play you like a fiddle like Kim did to her she could have extended a hand to Nene but whatever Kandi.
I don’t understand why she’s still talking about Nene when she has her own show to promote. For someone who bragged about their spinoffs getting more ratings than everyone else, she still can’t keep Nene’s name out her mouth.
She had Kim’s t-t in her mouth with no problem though. She needs to shut the f-ck up.
I guess Twitter hurt her feelings if she’s still trying to explain herself. Just be real and say you don’t like NeNe. I mean it is what it is. We all can see it.

It sill amazes me how someone as accomplished as Kandi stays so pressed about Nene. Strange indeed.
During the reunion, I was wishing Nene had asked Kandi, why don’t you like me, its not like we went into business together and I pocketed your cut? Oh, wishful thinking…
Knowing the kind of person Nene is, she wouldn’t gotten up and checked on Kandi of the shoe was reversed. Kandi just projecting her nastiness onto Nene as usual.
LMBO she’s still seething about Nene and Phaedra getting cool.
Her show must be flopping.
Kandi will be ok. Give her some chicken and she’ll get over it. LOL.
Kandi you told no lies. Continue to be real and speak the truth. You have no reason to hate. Only nene delusional stans would say that. Everybody do interviews after the show and answer questions that’s asked. This interview is old.
In other news, I heard it through the grapevine that Xscape is in the very early stages of possibly reuniting…and with all 4 original members. Can’t wait to see how that turn out.
